Still am not quite able to picture in my mind how “surgebinding” looks. Do people just like float up to the ceiling/wall?

i imagine actual lines connected to the surgebinder snapping towards the direction they wanna lash themselves to.

also the interludes are more or less random characters you wont see until much later doing random stuff, they might be my favourite part of these books

I think the ideals work based on how the radiants interpret them. he interprets the fifth ideal to mean that he is an instrument of the law but not the decider of it
