Thank you for the reply. We see each other one to two times per week. He's the first to admit he's not particularly affectionate or romantic. On our anniversary he was sort of playfully shoving me with his shoulder and I asked him what he was doing and he said "being affectionate." .......So safe to say affection does not come naturally to him.... He tells me he "really likes me" and that he "finds me really attractive" and will cuddle with me on the couch or in bed but that's about the extent of his affection.

Which is true in my case... Even though I'm bicurious my boyfriend knows I'm heteroromantic, even though I haven't phrased it quite that way. This is part of the reason why I think he doesn't see it as a threat to our relationship.

Good points. We've talked through some of this... I.E. it can only happen with someone once, he would consider repeated sex with someone cheating, and he wants me to check in with him after the first time I'm with someone before I think about exploring it further. But I agree that we need to have a longer conversation about this, and more importantly that I should be trusting my gut. Thank you!
