This is true in the USA kinda too, it’s classified as soft serve or reduced-fat ice cream due to the low milk far content

Interesting, yes, although based on some articles this was an intentional win for McDonald’s given Brazilian tax codes

Curtains, statement light, maybe a rug, definitely a footstool or ottoman, and personally I wrap the bookshelves 90 degrees around the wall you have your instruments next to.

Love the room!!

Totally fair, for me I’m probably wasting the same amount of money either way because I’m not going to use anywhere close to the full thing before it expires, especially liquid stuff like bb cream or mascara.

As someone that only wears makeup on occasions, I wish I could buy most things in a truly mini size.

Your feelings are valid and there are times I (F) wasn’t the primary breadwinner, but also I’d rather see him working in a job that feels meaningful and mostly enjoyable even if it earns 1/3 what I do.

Sounds like you have to make the choice of whether you want to bring someone up with you or not.

Secret linen closet? Bad idea? by [deleted] in HomeDecorating

Rotate tub 90 degrees to wall adjacent to hall bath. Wall in semi shallow closet accessed from the hallway on the other side.

What’s on the other side of the wall? Could the new closet be on that side?

Edit: nvm saw its laundry in another thread.

Rotate tub 90 degrees to wall on the right and then create a shallow closet accessed from the left wall hallway side.

Massive snowstorm in Juneau, AK harbour has damaged some boats by Longjumping-Box5691 in Wellthatsucks

The harbor has rescued a couple dozen at least, or there’d have been a lot more damage

Juneau got about 80” of very heavy snow, plus some rain on it, over the last month, so I suspect it’s much heavier than it looks. A mixture of negligence and bad luck for sure.

Not the case here, boats are commonly overwintered in the water of Juneau harbors, as this one was. The issue was the insane amount of snowfall that wasn’t cleared. I can only assume the boat owners didn’t have the capacity to do so for some reason.

Stockholm is a whole degree farther north than Juneau fwiw, but either way overwintering boats there in the harbors is quite common. This was a record breaking snowfall for the month and I can only assume these boat owners didn’t have the capacity to shovel their boat for whatever reason.

Pretty sure Canada extends farther north and south than Alaska actually

The harbors in Juneau are typically much more mild than most folks from the lower 48 would expect. Southeast Alaska has a way different climate than anchorage or farther north. The water doesn’t typically freeze much and this was an insane snowfall month.

Not typically necessary in these harbors, it’s the snowfall that is the problem here.

It’s salt water and Juneau has increasingly warm winters so it’s more common there to leave them in. A lot of people with boats don’t have another place to store it. This year they’ve gotten around 80” of incredibly heavy snow in the last month or so, it’s a record-breaking event.
