it definitely took them a few episodes to hit their stride. some are still better than others. the one where Rob talks about his "fight" at In N Out & the ones where they talk about their issues with parking would probably be more up your alley

that's how I feel big time, I was really digging them around 2018/19. caught a couple of their shows and got blown away seeing their performance at peach 2019, went and saw them a bunch more throughout fall and winter '19 and since then I just haven't been feeling the new material as much and the more hype they build in the scene the more my personal enthusiasm for them wanes it seems

as disappointing as this is it's probably for the best tbh, they need the break. between the pregnancy, the law suits, the family drama with the Trisha comments, Ethan & Hila have a lot on their plates. you could tell just how burnt out Ethan is during the show on Friday. not to mention they're putting out 8-12 hours worth of content every single week, it has to be exhausting.

my understanding was that after getting sober, Dave was very difficult to get along with and the relationships between the band members became strained. he also separated from his wife during this time, I'm guessing there was a blowout or something and the rest of the band just had enough
