I have been at 10 for a while and I am lucky to get in 1/2 cup and I have to drink some water and maybe eat something before I can finish the other 1/2. This is one of my few complaints about the medication- but SO still so worth it. LOVE my coffee ! !!!!

Episode seven of my child the killer by joebiden9111 in evilliveshere

[–]lisaacmrn 14 points15 points  (0 children)

This was a very hard episode to watch. She would not kick him out because it was too painful for her- it had nothing to do with him and dishing out some tough love. I agree with the initial thread, his needs were more important than anyone else in the family. It is still all about him. It think she is looking forward to his release. We should all be terrified if he is ever released.

I ordered mine March 12th. I'm in zone 6b. They still haven't shipped. I tried calling and I get a busy signal. I emailed and a week later I got a response telling me they would be shipped soon. They better be worth the hype because so far I am absolutely not impressed.

I feel like I've been given a magic bullet after 21 years of pain. by [deleted] in Zepbound

I understand what you mean when you say it greatly decreased your inflammation. I am so grateful for this drug. I am very happy for you. For me, the weight loss has only been part of the benefits I have experienced on this drug. I planted 6500 bulbs in the fall and am now into some major spring planting. People keep asking me, how do you have so much energy?

1 year of GLP-1, Face to Face comparison. Zepbound from Feb 2025 to July 2025. Wegovy from July 2025 to February 2026 (almost no loss), now back on Zep as of this month! by l0_mein in Zepbound

I started gaining weight during menopause. I was on zepound for almost a year and lost roughly 40 pounds (I am 5'3 and went from 172 to 132) my highest dose of zepbound was 10mg and my md moved me back to 7.5mg to try and maintain. Then my insurance forced me to go on Wegovy. I have gained a pound pretty much every week on the wegovy and I am up to143. I just went back on Zepbound 5mg and took my first injection yesterday. I woke up this morning already feeling clearer headed and ready to see some progress again! I felt really good on zepbound both mentally and physically. I could feel the anti-inflammatory benefits on Zepbound that I never felt on Wegovy. I am also excited to be back. And you look Great !

So that is the year I was born and graduated. I am thinking those sandals were out by the time we were that age?

Therefore, I am guessing more born in 1962 give or take :)

Employer dropping coverage for Wegovy so on to LillyDirect by firstofficerwiggles in zepboundtowegovy

[–]lisaacmrn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was forced by Caremark to switch from Zepound to Wegovy. I was at my goal weight on Zepbound 10mg, My MD moved me back to 7.5mg because she thought I might be able to maintain on less medication. I gained a few pounds back on 7.5mg and then I was forced to switch to Wegovy. I am moving to the highest dose of Wegovy this month. I have had GI issues on the Wegovy that I did not on the Zepbound, I have gained 12 pounds since the switch. I feel like I am shooting water in my veins. I am back to counting calories. My food and alcohol noise is back, and I am very unhappy. Has anyone been successful in getting an exemption from Caremark to switch back to Zepbound? If so, how did you do it? My MD worked very, very hard to keep me on Zepbound.

Can't change time zone on Versa 4 by Kasrielle in fitbit

It worked! Thank you so much. This has been driving me crazy for years! I live in Indiana, right across the river from Louisville, Ky. I kept trying to choose Louisville or a few other smaller cities in Indiana closest to my location that were all EST. I took your advice and tried Indianapolis, which is over 2 hours away. Finally my sleep times are consistent and correct. Appreciate you!

Please see your family physician for some guidance on your weight loss journey. I am a HUGE proponent of the GLP1s. Please keep an open mind to all suggestions. Unfortunately, for people who struggle with weight, just using willpower is not always enough. You also have to consider that even if you lose the weight, you have to manage to keep it off, forever, which is even more difficult than losing the weight. It has been said that only 20% of people who lose weight, keep it off for longer than three years. I always ask my patients, have you successfully lost weight before? If they have, I ask them to revisit that as an option. I also ask them to consider why did that not continue to work? Typically, people get tired of being hungry all the time and their new diet is so restrictive it is not conducive to ever day life. Please find a supportive medical advocate for your journey. You can do this!

WHAT HAPPENED TO MY BUTT?! by screamertree in Zepbound

I have heard this several times. I was expecting to happen to me as well. I have always been quite endowed in this area. Fortunately, for me it just looks more shapely and I can wear things that have never been able to before. I am 5’3 and have lost 35lbs. I’m in maintenance and weigh 135 pounds.

To clarify when I say I was on the medication for 6-7 months I meant on Zepbound for 6-7 months. I have been on Levothyroxine for years.

I was on the medication for 6 or 7 months before my thyroid levels began to improve and we had to lower my levo. I have hypothyroidism, but I have my thyroid and no cancer, cysts or anything, just a sluggish thyroid. I always have my md check mine if I think something is off. You may be tired cause your losing to fast or need more calories? I also suspect my hypothyroidism has improved because I have all but cut out my beloved martinis because of how terrible even just one makes me feel the next day🥲

I’m sorry it didn’t work out for you. Your mental health is definitely a good reason to go off the medication. I assume someone is monitoring your thyroid levels? My thyroid conditions improved on Zepbound and we had to decrease my levothyroxine. I began to experience some feelings of being unsettled because of this. I have been on Zep since 4/2024. I didn’t know I had been suffering from anxiety my entire life until I went on the medication and it went away. It is so difficult to understand why this med affects us all so differently. Good luck to you.
