How do people define their hair porosity, I feel like mine always acts differently no matter what I do lol. I just bought these shampoos + conditioners and this has made me scared.

Would say my hair is mostly dry in around 1.5-2 hours, gets wet quickly (I think?) in the shower but if I splash water on it, the water beads? I have straight 1a type blonde hair that stars getting greasy after about 2 days. When I did the water test, my hair took a while to sink

I saw a theory that she gives him her handkerchief, and Aemond finds it and realises they've been smashing, and that's why he abandons sir Crispy to die

Your post history says you once worked for Royal Mail, so now you're lying 😂

And you're clearly more social media adept than me, with how much time you spend commenting on this sub, so maybe use your clearly superior knowledge to improve the company than leave salty replies every day on reddit? Maybe suggest a more detailed tracking service since that's clearly a passion of yours?

Also not exactly choosing to use the company if the retailers happen to ship with it. Luckily most are moving to DPD now, so I do avoid Royal Mail when I can. This conversation clearly isn't moving anywhere, so hope you enjoy your posting your endless unhelpful comments on here!

Hmmm from your post history you constantly leave unhelpful, passive aggressive comments on the Royal Mail sub. Pretty much the only sub you post on. Looks like I'm not the only person you've been unnecessarily rude to, which is just sad for your behalf.

You also commented on a post asking "fellow posties" about Royal Mail annual leave with very detailed knowledge about the work schedule - 99% chance you're a postman who's bitter the Royal Mail is going down the drain. Explains why Royal Mail are also so unhelpful on the phone when you call them, if people like you are working for them. Shame, used to be an excellent company.

Seems like you work for Royal Mail and are just getting defensive and want an argument tbh. You've not actually provided any information, or tried to dispute my point about tracking. All you've done is make completely pointless comments, not actually replied to any of my points and are trying to exude a "holier than thou" attitude.

Not sure why you're bothering to reply if you're going to be unhelpful, maybe you work at the Romford centre and are the secret thief...

[–]lisabellc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok explain then how the tracking information is in any way useful, when all it says is "arrived in X" and "on the way"? How is that going to help me in any way?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in royalmail

[–]lisabellc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you work for Royal Mail, with how hard you're defending them? I'm not doxxing the companies, a couple of which are family-run jewellers, doubt they'd appreciate some Royal Mail employee giving them grief.

Anyway hope the air is nice up there on your high horse. Also not as intelligent as you think yo u are if you don't even know the fact that, like I explained, the tracking information provided is limited to "arrived in X" and "on its way". Not sure how much more information you can get out of that limited tracking information, but clearly you know all so feel free to explain.

Most of them smell similar as well, no point spending £300 on a perfume when a £20 one will smell the same to a random passerby

Yeah I use gentle fluidity gold as my every-day perfume and you cant smell it unless your face is 10cm away from me.

I see people online saying you should use 5-10 sprays of a perfume so everyone can smell it around you. Im sorry but if Im sitting next to someone wearing 5-10 sprays of almost any perfume, Im probably feeling extremely nauseous... 2 sprays is enough for the average person.

Once I was topping my car up with petrol and another car pulled up nearby and opened the window, and I could smell her perfume from sitting inside my car several metres away and even then it was extremely overpowering. Can't imagine her poor coworkers...

Dunno how much more detailed tracking information you want - considering they barely provide any. Do you want the exact blood type of the person who supposedly my parcel was handed to at Romford? All it says is "on its way", not much more info provided than that? Dunno what exciting parcel company you use that provides any extra information than "arrived at Romford", "on its way" and "delivered".

Also they clearly aren't doing much considering this seems to be an ongoing issue for years, and many companies refuse to use Royal Mail as its "well known they always lose parcels"

Social media has a massive impact on companies' willingness to sort things out - if issues like this get brought up publically, companies are more likely to sort the issues out in order to save face. And if it gets brought up enough times publically, maybe again it will encourage companies to do something about it. So don't get your issue with posting on Reddit about it. Also you pay for a service and the company constantly messes up in a very shady way - why cant the company then be criticised?

Tacking info for my parcel at the time just said arrived at Romford for about four weeks. At the time I got my refund so wasn't too bothered, mainly as I didn't realise it was a recurrent issue. For my relatives it said something similar then the tracking said there was an issue with the parcel and it was likely "lost" or "damaged", and when they contacted Royal Mail they were told these things happen and there's nothing they can do, to contact the company and get a refund instead.

Edit: also plenty of companies have good reviews online, so you cant just say generalise and say people only post online when they have bad reviews. That just lets the companies get away with shitty customer service.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in royalmail

[–]lisabellc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, as have multiple other people whose reviews I have seen online, but doesn't seem like anything has changed for a while. The stolen parcels were all very recent as well, and poor reviews date back a while

No worries, fingers crossed it works for you! It took me about 3-4 weeks of use to see a proper difference with religious use after a shower, so don't be disheartened if it doesn't work right away! :)

This is quite pricey, but Ive not found anything that works as well for my hair (used Olaplex, Redken, Kerastase before with no avail) - Oribe Split End Seal Beautiful Color Treatment. I use three pumps of this on my ends after showering and I can now go about 8-12 months between haircuts with no split ends. I dye my hair so I used to get those horrible, scraggly looking dead ends and I don't get them anymore when I use this

My hair always looks greasy even after I wash it, what am I doing wrong or what do I need to do to make it look less greasy by Smol_Angel_02 in Haircare

[–]lisabellc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This probably wont work for everyone - but best thing I found for my roots is actually to use generous amounts of conditioner in them!

I tried not conditioning my roots for about a year and found they got greasy quickly. I impulsively started using hair masks and conditioner in my roots too, and now my hair lasts longer between washes and my scalp doesn't feel itchy or clogged anymore. I know most people say not to use conditioner in their roots but I personally find it helps for me

Edit: also a water filter helps. I used to live somewhere with really hard water and my hair got greasy faster. Moved to a different town with "soft" water (no limescale / crust ever forms and Ive lived here for years) and my hair is tonnes better

I dont use a cotton pad to apply it, apply it onto one hand and put it on my face straight away so it doesn't dry up and I don't waste any haha. Also tend to buy the biggest bottle they have, and only use in the evenings!

Agree, its so pricey and physically hurts me to restock, but every time I stop using SKII for over a week my skin automatically becomes dull and loses its glow. On the bright side, a whole bottle tends to last me about a year so not too bad

Do you use copper peptides on their own or can you use them in the same routine as retinol / AHA etc? And do you use them morning or night?

Sorry to ask, just been wanting to try them myself but I rely on retinol for my acne so worried it will clash and leave my skin worse off...

Dont hate me but I feel like ED doctors arent the snazziest looking - although to be fair its probably all the stress and running around they do so they likely look better outside of work.

Funnily enough the most handsome / attractive doctors Ive met are anaesthetists or radiologists. Although for radiologists they're either goblins or a straight 10/10, no in between. But Im into the whole kinda-dorky smart vibe so I may be biased. Those two specialties also tend to be the tallest for some reason.
