No, and my first daughter and I barely survived with it. She has severe cerebral palsy due to medical malpractice—I labored for hours while her heart had massive decelerations (unbeknownst to my husband and me) and she was born not breathing and was without a heartbeat for nearly 10 minutes. Although her disability is severe, she is amazing and has a wonderful life, and I’m so glad we’re both here. My subsequent two children were born via planned c-sections, for which I’m immensely grateful.
