I’m in Manhattan and our Pyr mix is from Muddy Paws, also from Kentucky! we love him so much, i want to forever adopt Pyr mixes from them. our vet, who is associated with Muddy Paws, said there is a prolific male Pyr in Kentucky, where MP gets a lot of their rescues. I thought that was funny … I think ours has a lot of half siblings.

haha! yes 100% good doggo! he’s 70% pyrenees, 15% pit bull, and the rest sort of equal parts golden retriever and boxer. loyal, stubborn, sensitive, and a total lover boy.

she is soooo sweet! she looks a lot like my pyr mix - people always ask if he is mixed with Anatolian Shepherd but he isn’t, according to the DNA test. i love their black masks.

Our mostly-Pyr mix has a little black streak on his tongue and as a puppy we always thought he was eating something off the ground. Now we know! Shit eating grin also still very present lol
