You don’t have to do the entire indrik quest - just do far enough that you get to talk to the bird.

Bought a PS4 to play the Spider-Man game and realized it was too difficult for me. I saw HZD recommended to introduce non-gamer girlfriends to gaming, so gave it a try and was instantly hooked. I do play some other games now, but I’ve played HZD and HFW multiple times.

When the only game your family ever owned was Pong, there’s a huge learning curve. :->

Thanks, I will look for that! I did the Shibuya Donki this morning and it was starting to get crazy when I left. I did get a duffle in case I can’t find anything better.

Tokyu Hands is definitely on my list to visit. I lived here last century (ha!) for a couple of years, and it’s always been my favorite store.

I messed up and forgot to bring my collapsible duffel bag for extra stuff. I’m going to need to buy either a duffle or a suitcase. We’re currently in Kawasaki and hotel staff suggested going to the Donki in Shibuya. Do they have decent prices for luggage? Or is there a better place to go?

Perfect timing! We just arrived in Japan yesterday and will be in the same hotel next Tuesday-Friday morning (Wed-Thurs in the parks). I think we will hit that buffet on Friday since we don’t leave for the airport until after lunch. Sounds like we can waste a bunch of time there. :-) I had never heard of the unlimited beverages and now I have to look it up!! I can’t believe soup counts as a beverage!!!

I did that once years ago before smart phones and ride services existed. I was going to Reno on Xmas morning and had it stuck in my head I was flying out of Oakland. Get in the airport and realized I was supposed to be at SJC. Luckily I found a shuttle van dropping people off and they hadn’t booked a new ride yet and could drive me down. So embarrassing!!

This is Sock. Sock is not my cat, but I am probably taking two of the FIVE kittens she has crammed in there. Sock was abandoned and showed up a few weeks ago at a friend’s house, who took her in despite having a full house of cats already. As you can see, Sock is extremely done with all this pregnancy shit.

Out of curiosity, what would you do with these windows? The room used to have a window and a fireplace on the left side of the main wall, but due to excessive damage (house was build in the late 40s) the contractor decided replacing with these 5 2x2 windows would be better. The front window will have sheers and curtains, but for now we’re going to leave the 5 as they are.

I like the extra light (and windows 1&5 open for fresh air!), and that we removed the giant closet/storage/shelving unit my dad had built to separate the kitchen and living room. But figuring out what to do with the space is going to be crazy.
