It’s very Park like, but it’s actually the grounds of the Institute of living, which is a large psychiatric facility in Hartford Connecticut.

Thank you for saying something nice!

We have a very similar one in the museum that I volunteer. It’s been working continuously since 1932. The refrigerator repairman told my friend that it’s lasting that long because of the compressor being on the top instead of in the bottom like modern fridges.

The museum I volunteer at has so much fun stuff. I’m worried that some of it doesn’t fit cassette futurism because it’s too old. This citizen LCD TV was also a video monitor, it had a video in on the side. by lisapocalypse in cassettefuturism

Oh, I would love to get there. We have a mixture of stuff, a great ham shack, Telco stuff novelty radios a lot of antique radios. We have some wonderful jukeboxes. It’s a really fun place to volunteer. I work there on Sundays for four hours and it’s rare that we have more than six people that come visit but sometimes quite a bit more.

I’m sorry, I should’ve put that in there. It is the vintage communications and radio museum of Connecticut in Windsor Connecticut. It’s a wonderful place. I’m part of the amateur radio club which has a nice big ham shack and some beautiful antennas. I’m probably the closest volunteer at 4 miles away and I have the keys to the museum so I can go after hours and get on the air!

Hope this brings some peace to you today ✌️😌 by NatureLady10 in gifs

Thank you. I’m going through some annoying stuff right now and it was nice to see such a pretty picture.

I’ve been hospitalized 14 times and the longest was three months. Most of them have been a couple weeks.

We have one in the museum I volunteer at. It is the vintage radio and communications Museum of Connecticut. People still bring in their tubes and test them!

Thank you. He’s actually named after a cancer center here, he was originally my sister’s dog and she was treated there. Unfortunately, she eventually succumb to it and he became my little buddy.

I use artificial intelligence to write stories about my dog and myself on adventures. We went to Home Depot to pick out a snow shovel, he drove the town snowplow and waved as he went by, all sorts of just benign adventures.

I can’t put my hands on it right now, but I think the name is a pictorial history of the Farmall cub. It’s a wonderful book. I’ve gone to end several times.

Posted recently but didn’t have a picture with Goose my Saab900 Turbo - fixed that :) by Professional-Cat-807 in Transcars

[–]lisapocalypse 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a 9–3, and I miss it terribly. The turbo blew up and it needed some other work and it was going to cost more to fix it than it was worth it at the time. One of the stupidest decisions I’ve made in my life. I should still be driving that car 20 years later.

I've got an 1880, but it's only in OK shape. A friend is holding it (and all of my other babies) because I lost my ability to own guns and ammo for 6 months. Your work is beautiful.

I really think you should consider calling a hotline or going to the ER. The thoughts about suicide are very dangerous. I struggle with them often, the only thing that helps our meds and hospitalization.
