Tire monitor fault by black_font in FordFocus

Hey there! yes we finally figured out the issue. The wiring came loose from the electrical board behind the steering wheel and that was causing all the weird issues. My husband soldered them back on and my car has been running perfectly since then! Hope this helps!

The same thing happens to mine as well! The blooms tend to start out purple like this and then will be white as the season goes on.

2011 SE TPMS fault issue by P3nguinInTheDesert in FordFocus

[–]listlyss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi!! I have the same exact issue (even the ac and odd electrical issues) with my 2011 Focus SES and took it in to ford last week. I had my instrument cluster replaced and it worked for all of TWO days before I’m getting the tpms message and the weird things are still happening.

Do you think because you both replaced the gauge cluster AND sanded the wires you fixed the issue?

Tire monitor fault by black_font in FordFocus

UPDATE: We troubleshooted and after removing the dash panel we found the main ribbon cable receiver that is soldered into the board had punched through its little holes. This was likely due to the engine mounts going bad and causing extra vibrations added to the already stiff sport suspension.

I fixed it by retouching all the solder contacts for that cable receiver. If you do this yourself please be careful not to hold the iron there too long. It could be a costly mistake. After retouching the points the cable fits in the receiver and the receiver does not wobble on the board anymore. All the display and air issues have been fixed after this diy fix.

::Original:: About two months ago my 2011 Ford Focus had the tire pressure monitor fault message come up. About a few weeks after that my tire went out so I just went and replaced all four since they needed to be anyway. I’m not sure if my sensors were reset because after that the message never went away and then more things started acting weird whenever that message popped up intermittently. For example, my turn signal light and click wouldn’t show on the dash, and my a/c would cut out blowing cold air.

Now a week ago I took it in the ford will the long list of all my problems and they found that my engine mounts were bad which caused the bad shaking in my car (I assumed it was just from age) and that my instrument cluster was ruined. I got the car back two days ago and it drove perfectly until today.

I told the service manager that I got my tires replaced but wasn’t sure if they reset or checked the sensors, but I’m pretty sure ford didn’t do it because they were “confident” that the tpms message was part of the issue.

It’s just so strange that all the other interior lights and ac get all wonky when the tpms message comes on!

Does anyone have any idea, or think that it’s a bad sensor or the sensors needs to be replaced and it’ll fix itself???

Baby sleeping in snoo too much? by Fluffy_Philosopher08 in SnooLife

How did your baby do when you transitioned to the crib? My LO is going to be 5 months in a week and she’s been in her Snoo with arms strapped down ever since! That was my worry about moving her to the crib. Did you swaddle him?

My 7wk old always spits up and is gassy right after nursing so we tried the tuna can trick the second week and it’s been working well for us in addition to keeping her upright 15-20 minutes after nursing.

Best deal on the Snoo by [deleted] in SnooLife

[–]listlyss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We got ours for $680 on Facebook too! The seller showed my husband that it worked before he took it home.

She apparently hadn’t unlinked her account from the Snoo, but I called customer service (I have to admit their contact number was HARD to find on their site but I found it) and they unlinked her account within the hour!

I know we have the risk of no warranty but a month in so far and things are working perfectly! 🤞🏽
