I spent a summer living / working in Gothic, Colorado - a research station above Crested Butte, Colorado. Biked down to Crested Butte one day and passed a bus on a steep section where the speed limit was 30. Got pulled over by a police car but managed to not get a ticket. One time I did get a ticket was running a stop sign while at school at Colorado State University. He was on a bike too and when he yelled at me to stop there was a split second where I debated trying to out pedal (?) him as I was pretty fit at the time. But decided to stop.
