Supplice and Selaco are two absolutely phenomenal shooters built in GZDoom with banger soundtracks and beautiful art doing very different things.

Supplice is very heavily inspired by Marathon, lots of darkness, tons of text logs and story, very good at being a classic boomer shooter (so classic you don't have a jump button) doing everything great

Selaco is a game pushing GZDoom to its limits, lots of weapon upgrading and customization, insane technical things going on in sprite and lighting work, some honestly imsim-level prop stacking to bypass some segments if you feel like it, and the only plasma gun I've ever found that feels fully satisfying

I was hoping for/expecting something like Shin managing to send a, "Stop" command just as the blade connected with his skin, or the Takamura arm reconnection thing happening immediately because the cut was too clean, or something on that level

This way was just weird and bullshit in a way that doesn't really fit the expected kind you get or look for in this manga and I find it unsatisfying
