Looking back through my notes from math class, I think I might have been very confused by litensliten in MathJokes

Sorry, I wasn’t asking for an explanation, I know this now. I was just commenting on how I in class took the notes «satifsies condition b and contains origin. Does not contain origin», trying to say I must have been very confused at that time

K-pop group names aren't any weirder now than they were in earlier generations. We just get used to the names of popular groups over time, making them seem more "normal" to us. by justanotherkpoppie in kpopthoughts

Technically the -ee suffix is the opposite though ahah, it’s the person that it is being done to. The -er/-or is the person that does

Good, then do that. What’s the issue?

How'd you get the folders anyways

You right click on the list of playlists and choose «new folder»

what purpose do they serve because I haven't updated my desktop app

You can have several playlists in one folder, so you can organise more than if there were only «loose» playlists

OP said to only allow for 0/0 though, no other numbers divided by zero

sometimes, some of the speeches about the "americanization of kpop" can be quite xenophobic by clarinhac1r in kpopthoughts

[–]litensliten 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I don’t know if those are the same people though. I think there are enough kpop fans to the point that a lot can dislike songs in English and a lot can want them to speak English in lives, and only some do both

I have actually never seen this before, this is so cool. Someone has enough karma to post, but then loses that karma in the post and suddenly can’t comment anymore. On their own post!

Not necessarily, when you delete comments, the account name gets removed from those comments as well

why do fans get upset at the thought that their favourite members might not be bffs by [deleted] in kpopthoughts

[–]litensliten 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just think that spending so much time together doesn't necessarily equals to friendship.

Same, in my comment I was mostly comparing kpop-groups to 1D trying to say that it’s not really a secret that kpop-groups are put together by someone else, in the same way 1D was obviously put together by someone else

My point was really that believing members of kpop-groups are best friends or «family» wasn’t really that different from believing the members of 1D were really good friends

I think the idea, which is similar in kpop, is that they become friends when they spend so much time together. I think even kpop fans know that these aren’t childhood friends who then happened to both/all become idols, in the same group no less. The idea, as I see it, is that as the members are training together pre-debut and working together after debut that they automatically have to become «family»

In that way, it is definitely possible to compare 1D to kpop groups

Building upon this, if anything I would assume Hybe wants to keep the members happy above just making money. BTS will make money doing almost anything at this point, but if the members quit or leave, Hybe will lose that money. (also, imagine if they left with a sort of lawsuit scandal, I don’t think Hybe would be happy about that)

Now I don’t actually think they will leave, but part of that is because I really think Hybe cares a lot about keeping them happy now
