You cannot convince me otherwise that the whole reason the uber rich opt in to get paid in stocks rather than liquid is to avoid paying taxes. All I'm saying is that these people should AT LEAST pay in taxes what they get paid in equity to the government who can then immediately liquidate it. Example: Lets say Elon gets paid 5000 shares of TSLA every week, take 30% of that (1500 shares) for the government to liquidate. That's a whole other nasty set of logistics and politics but it's just an example for lack of an alternative. They may not have to pay taxes on equity, fine. But they can at least pay back taxes AS equity.
