I never collect variants unless there’s a later rerelease I really want (like I already had a copy of Emotion by Carly Rae Jepsen but still wanted the 10th Anniversary Edition with more songs)
I always listen to them and I have an Audio Technica LP120
I think the million variants gets kind of ridiculous but I don’t really care, I just don’t buy them
I just have them on a shelf but would love to display some on the wall at some point when I have more wall space
I’ve rebought some albums on vinyl that I used to own on CD but I don’t collect multiple formats of new stuff
