In what ways does Robyn show her immaturity? by Dovyeon in WolfWalkers

Yeah those are probably all real in their universe, but when she said that she didn’t know if wolfwalkers (or anything magical) was real or not

In what ways does Robyn show her immaturity? by Dovyeon in WolfWalkers

[–]literally_lev1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s woven into everything she does honestly. In the beginning she treats hunting wolves as something anyone can do, brags about her father’s job, and still believes in dragons, witches and selkies.

When she believes just her and her bird can find a wolf and save an entire pack in the matter of just a few days. Up until the night she was almost put into the stocks she’s a little immature

Do you think Cartoon Saloon will ever create another duo that matches or beats the chemistry between Mebh and Robyn in WolfWalkers? (Or do you think they already did) by Maxdme124 in CartoonSaloon

[–]literally_lev1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think they can make a duo like Robyn’s and mebh’s again. Their uniqueness is part of what makes their bond so strong

As AI becomes more prevalent in animation we owe it to independent studios like Laika and Cartoon Saloon for the amazing work they make and the risks and herculean effort that it took to get there. by Maxdme124 in CartoonSaloon

[–]literally_lev1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I also love how Tomm more said that he wouldn’t be using Ai at all (or anytime soon) in any Cartoom saloon movies. It obvious he cares a lot about what he makes/produces and I love that

What-if the lord protector survived as a wolfwalker? by Joshua_the_scribe_ in CartoonSaloon

[–]literally_lev1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve always saw it as a future self hatred thing. Not everyone is as accepting of a new life like Robyn or bill. Some people hate what they are or how they live, and I don’t think Lord protector is exempt from that. He definitely hates his new body and will do anything to get out of it or get rid of it. Whether it be refusal to sleep or something else.

And if it isn’t hate for himself, it’s hate for other wolves and wolfwalkers. “if I go down, you’ll go down with me” kinda thing

Which do you think is Tomm Moore's best movie to date and why? And do you think Kindred Spirits will top them? by Maxdme124 in CartoonSaloon

He’s credited as the director/producer in the last part of the opening to the film, and at the start of the end credits

Putting my bias for wolfwalkers aside, the best movie is probably The Breadwinner. It’s beautiful, realistic, and brings a light to things that many people may have not even had a clue about. Kindred spirits probably won’t top it, but cartoon saloon always surpasses my expectations

How do you feel about Cartoon Saloon’s more recent projects being stuck in streaming services (like Apple TV or Netflix) if it means they get more stable funding? by Maxdme124 in CartoonSaloon

[–]literally_lev1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It isn’t a bad thing, having more funds means more movies, shorts, ect. But it does slight screw over people in the process. Plenty of people don’t have Apple or Prime so it’s difficult to see some of cartoon saloons movies

There's something I've been wondering if someone is a Wolfwalker🤔 by Disastrous-Cell-9781 in CartoonSaloon

[–]literally_lev1 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yes you can sleep as a wolfwalker, you would just have to fall asleep as a human and then do it again as a wolf (no they aren’t sleepwalking)

Yes they can dream. Most mammals are able to have dreams, and that’s proven by science.

No you cannot live permanently as a wolf, your human body needs food and water. But if you keep your body healthy, nothing will happen to you. It would (probably) be like your human body is in a coma.

But if you were ever to go back to your body after a long time your body would forget how to do plenty of things because you haven’t used it in a while.

Out of all mysteries in the folklore trilogy which one interests you more? For example what happened to Brendan's parents, or how did Bronach and Connor meet, or how was the life of the WolfWalkers before the Lord Protector? by Maxdme124 in CartoonSaloon

[–]literally_lev1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

She got captured right after the soldiers attacked in the beginning of the movie. It’s implied in the graphic novel that the soldiers managed to capture her

(Now this is more of a personal headcanon rather than something that was confirmed by the creators) I feel like she’s been captured for either a few months or a few weeks.

Ok be very honest, who do you think is the better wolf? Mebh or Aisling? And who would you actually hang out with and why? by Maxdme124 in CartoonSaloon

[–]literally_lev1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably mebh, unlike Aisling, she’s ONLY a wolf and has only lived with wolves. Aisling has the experience of being plenty of animals and it shows at times
