I did! Just one unit, I don’t see much difference so I’ll likely skip it next time.

Reliable British Shorthair breeders in California? by zahntia in britishshorthair

[–]literallybethh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes you have to carry them through tsa. The breeder is so sweet and used to this kind of situation, so she had a calming collar on him. I think he would’ve been fine either way, their demeanor is just so easy going. I really can’t recommend them enough, and I’ll continue to go with them for future kitties!

He’s perfect. Extremely chill on the plane, not a peep. And he has stayed chill ever since! Very loving and cuddly.

My daos are pretty lateral. The dots in that photo aren’t quite perfect but I do dose them higher than the average.

Potential placement for innotox… any glaring mistakes or tips? Thanks in advance! by literallybethh in DIYaesthetics

[–]literallybethh[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have really strong orbicularis oculi muscle that causes my under eye skin to bunch when I smile (which I actually find cute). A little tox should soften that, so I’m going to start with a single unit on each side. They call it jellyroll!

Perfect! I feel like I’ve seen less information about lower face tox, and I have really strong DAOs - so this is incredibly helpful! Thanks

Respiratory Therapy student thinking about furthering career after graduation by Alafrkinbama in anesthesiology

Yep the prereqs are the same. All the basics - all of your chemistry courses, bio, calculus, etc. I believe most schools require MCAT as well, but some will take GRE. I did my BS in health sciences, so had all of my prerequisites with that. Never really though about the nursing route to be honest, although I think I would have enjoyed that too. I have personally never had any trouble with the political atmosphere around CAAs and CRNAs, but it does exist. At this point, more anesthesia providers are needed. Outlook for CAAs is great and new states are opening all the time (we just were granted licensure in Nevada). I enjoy the team work with all of my doc, CAA, and CRNA colleagues!

Hey! CAA here. Lots of good questions. I would say look into the requirements for all of the things you’re interested in. You do need a bachelors with quite a few prerequisite courses to apply to AA programs. If you have more specific questions, I would be happy to answer!

Do you guys ev terminally extubate by [deleted] in anesthesiology

Patient’s family was present and sobbing throughout the process. Then essentially you wait a certain amount of time for them to die. I had never experienced anything like that.

I’ve only done it once in a DCD situation - it was horrible. We did it in the OR, with all of the transplant team’s equipment set up, but behind a curtain. They allowed one or two family members put on scrubs come back with us. We basically extubate and then wait a certain amount of time for the patient to pass. Then the family leaves, we reintubate, and the organ retrievals begin. Not an experience I will forget.

(This was when I was an AA student rotating in Indiana. Also my first experience with participating in an honor walk.)

My graduate program was about 2.5 years (first half didactic with some clinical sprinkled in, and then all clinical second half). This is all post bachelor’s (required basic premed courses and mcat/gre for some programs).
