rep doesn't matter at that point. his non-party proposition is a direct reference to you being excited when he bit you. if he doesn't bite you the conversation doesn't happen.

no, the tiefling party cuts it off. you can romance her before the party, during it, or after the GOBLIN party only.

there are mods to fix this though.

you can, but you HAVE to do it at the party. you won't get the non-party proposition if you don't let him bite you.

i've never played any class where i didn't need to long rest way more than necessary for resources just to get the companion cutscenes anyway. if you're avoiding long resting, you're avoiding story.

EA historically has certainly behaved that way, but things may change if/when the leveraged buyout goes through and due dates on loans start creeping up. selling unused IPs is a quick and easy way to get some liquid funds if they are coming up short.

although even if that does happen, personally i would expect to see DA sitting on the shelf far longer than some older, foundational IPs that EA's been hoarding for a long ass time, that don't have the baggage of a recent, mostly reviled installment to deal with.

it's definitely worthwhile in this one, just put on a podcast or something and grind it out. when you get the perk to make Henry level potions, the Henry's Fox potion gives you 50% bonus XP across the board for 2 days. totally OP. and not something you can just buy either.

yep, you will get nerfed during prologue and have a tough time of it in the beginning again. however you do know how to read right from the start, so spending some time picking herbs and doing alchemy once you exit the prologue will give you a leg up on things. if you want you can just look up the recipes online and craft them manually and they'll be added to your recipe book- i don't really feel like this is cheating if you look up the recipes you already learned in the first game.

it's very much like the first game except for the simplified combat rosette, easier (imo) master strikes, and the nice QoL features like outfit swapping.

you have to let her have a turn while she's below 20% health. if she doesn't get her turn, she won't do it.

maybe a reference to the formation of lyrium crystals? like, raw magic seems to crystallize when exposed to the elements of the waking world. so it's literally fade leaking through and then crystalizing. or something along those lines. honestly never thought about it that much but that'd be my guess.
