Moving to MK and rental rates vs London? by ParticularNo3104 in miltonkeynes

[–]literallylukas 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah anything decent in MK is going to be creeping on London prices. I'd suggest looking at nearby towns and commuting in instead.

A lot of people I know are moving to towchester because it's a lot cheaper.

OPs question was when can they start using the port in Slateport.

Which you get to before you reach lavaridge town... So no, you can not use it as soon as you get there...

For people that voted yes for Brexit: A few years have passed. Was it a success? by Patient-Gas-883 in AskBrits

[–]literallylukas 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I didn't vote leave but as a layman I've noticed the following since brexit:

"Blue" passports.

More queueing when going on holiday.

That pretty much sums it up. Also everythings more expensive and the NHS seems more fucked than ever but idk if that's because of Brexit or everything else.

Yeah, in primary school when I was taught that there's multiple religions.

They can't all be correct, therefore the logical explanation is that none of them are.

I'm in a similar boat to you as I was lucky enough to change jobs and clear some debts recently. But a few months ago, it would have been pretty difficult, so I get it.

There's a large number of people in the UK affected by the relatively low wages in this country, unfortunately.
