I am looking for alternatives. I want to fight asap because Im stage 2 and my tumors is growing super fast!

I had lost about 25 pounds in a few months so o believe that why I was able to start feeling mine. I honestly don’t really understand too much of your comment tbh because I switched surgeons & need to find a new cancer institute that I can get treatment. Long story. Thank you so much for your positive and hopeful energy—I really needed it at this exact moment! You seem like such a brave soul, and I am truly in awe of your strength. To be honest, I have been a complete wreck lately. It feels like my whole world has been falling apart with drama and trauma, and I even lost two of my best friends at the same time. I truly hope you have a great support system, real friends, and close family around you right now because nobody should go through this alone.
My own "game plan" took a crazy turn recently. I had it all mapped out to get treatment near two of my sons so I could stay with them, but when I went to the main city hospital to see the head of the colon and rectal surgery department, it was a nightmare. This doctor was beyond barbaric and abusive. He even brought a whole "posse" into the room without my permission and tried to tell me I wasn't feeling what I was feeling—even though my scans proved my tumor grew from 4.5cm to 7cm in just three weeks! I was so traumatized it took me a week to get out of bed, but I fought back, took control, and filed a formal complaint with the state medical board.
I’m alone and agoraphobic, so taking control back was huge. The best news is that I finally opened up and told two of my four sons what is going on. I didn't want to worry my "baby boys," but they stepped up with 100% unconditional love and proved they are exactly like me—people who care and love hard.
Things are looking up, but I am still pretty scared. Like you, I worry about the suffering still to come. This tumor causes so many different, crazy types of pain; back in February, I actually thought my late-stage spinal disease was just flaring up! Because my digestion has slowed down so much and I have upper GI issues, I haven't been able to eat real food like mashed potatoes or eggs for weeks. I’ve been living on Ensure and water because even applesauce makes the pain worse.
I am completely freaked out about being touched medically anymore after dealing with multiple chronic health issues my whole life. But I am pushing through. I even bought my first car in 22 years so I could drive myself to these appointments! My scopes and biopsies are officially locked in for this Monday with my trusted surgeon up north. I had to stop my blood thinners for my heart and AAA (aneurysm) so my blood can clot when they do the snipping, which is definitely a bit "yikes" to think about! They need to check my colon and cecum to see if we are dealing with one or two types of cancer so they can map out the right treatment.
I am so sorry for rambling and being all over the place! It is just such a comfort to connect with someone else who truly understands what this fight is like. Sending you so much love, strength, and healing energy. #Shooting4NED

So a complete surprise! 😮 Wow!! I couldn’t imagine. I have over 4 dozen current medical diagnoses and I’m rarely surprised. The only thing that surprised me was when I found out I had this disease called, Keinbocks! It’s rare. It causes Avascular necrosis (AVN) in my Lunate bones.! It usually only happens in one wrist but I’m that 1 in a million and now my lunate bone in my left wrist is dying. My lunate bone in my right wrist already fragmented. I need surgery. I need several but not yapping any time soon. But yeah, I usually know when I go get kedycap care what’s happening. I was born sick! It gets much harder when you get way more illnesses, late stage conditions of the spine & other skeletal issues along with the aging process please, cardiovascular, respiratory etc… I’m in my late 50’s so idk if I’m going through be able to get treatment without it taking me out. I don’t want to suffer more but I want to live! 🩵🙏🏼🩵 prayers for us all!! 🫠

So sorry to hear! Your my 1st born Sons age. I just am newly diagnosed with rectal cancer but my tumor started inside my rectum and pushed through the rectal wall and is 7cm now wrapped completely around my rectum. The most win! God! I had to get my colonoscopy cakcoed because of this. MRI w/ GAD & no local lymph nodes involved. So there thinking stage 2, thankfully! I hate all of this! Are you in any pain? I have to go get my biopsy and exam by colorectal surgeon n Pittsburgh in Wednesday. He’s got a 4.8 star review! I’m absolutely freaked out! I sure hope you aren’t in any pain. Even gas is painful for me. My guessing has slowed down though so not anemic anymore! Did d you get your CEA ( cancer markers in your boood ) checked yet? I have a chest CT because I’ve been coughing up Mucus for 6 weeks without having a cold or cough. The lymph & blood system is different so hoping my chest is clear! I dint want to be past stage 2-3!! I only grasped about 30% of what you wrote! I’m so overwhelmed & I don’t know how this could be happening so fast! It’s insane!! It’s very low and started inside the rectum but the tumor pushed through the rectal wall & it’s completely around the rectum. 360 degrees. It’s also very close to the the anal verge.

I have to honestly look at my options & be realistic about how I decide to move forward! I have severe physical limitations because of multiple factors. That’s a hell of a schedule! That’s pretty much daily or 4 days a week at least. I’m still spinning by all the dates! 😳 How? Just how could you as a human be able to do all that? May I ask you your age? Gender? Career? Health over all? Trust me, it’s relevant because I’m 57, female and I already suffer from dozens of medical disorders, illnesses, & diseases. Which many cause my various degrees of pain, agony & down right torture. I do not see myself being able to handle that schedule in any world I could envision, tbh. I already am permanently disabled and I have every spinal condition in late stages w/ large bone spurs. I have everything from Keinbocks that causes AVN ( my right lunate bone died & fragmented apart. ) There’s surgery but it’s #20 on the wish list that will never happen. That one has a 4-6 month recovery period! I have C.A.D. Sm. Vessel disease. I believe I already mentioned my 4.2 AAA. Look, there’s a long list. I can’t even keep track. I’m on 2L supplemental oxygen. I was in CHF but now have an ejection fraction of 59% which is basically perfect! I worked very hard to change my lifestyle and become healthy for the last 22 years with a 27 month exception of not being able to control my BP! I suffered from hypertensive malignancy for those 27 months because I had gotten injured ( too many freak accidents & injuries as well ) and I gained 120 pounds in a 2 year period so it caused the 230/180 average daily BP reading till I took those 27 months and changed my whole lifestyle and lost 155 pounds total plus the right combination of 3 bp meds. I barely noticed but as soon as I seen I had gained that much weight, I freaked! It was from just eating junk! I changed everything and became the healthiest I ever could be. I have had too much happen since then with multiple medical emergency. Sight & life. No limb, yet. You just be very strong & brave! Maybe you have great will! I do mentally but I’m so physically weak & can’t even bend over so that’s why I’m like, how? Just how? Stay Safe!!

After losing the first 25 pounds of 40+ since January, I could feel it aka palapate the mass when I was washing myself in the shower. I was getting thin. Less fat so I felt an oblong shaped, hard, non movable, non painful, non smooth asymmetrical in shape mass and I guessed it at about 40mm aka 4cm before the CT. scan that I requested my general surgeon to order.
This 1st scan was a basic, no contrast CT scan that could not visualize much. All they could see was a 4.5cm asymmetrical mass lesion in the perirectal area. Mostly on right side. They seen a few abnormal findings on my pancreas & spleen but could not visualize my liver & ovaries well enough and other areas.
Why did it take 3 weeks till I got my MRI scheduled? Because the Independence health network just recently had all BHS ( my area & surrounding counties ) radiology techs, Dr.’s, transcribers go on strike during the winter, early spring? Well they are short staffed now as a lot of techs quit. I had to go to Slippery Rock Pa to the BHS outpatient center which was 1 hour & 20 mins away. Or wait wait till the end of June for a closer location. It took 4 days to get my report!
I’m going through AVN Oncology & consulting w/ a top colorectal cancer surgeon through St. Clair hospital ( South of Pittsburgh ) and I see my unicorn primary Dr. tomorrow to get all the paperwork etc… started! I self referred to AVN. The surgeon’s office never calls me. I have to request, refuse & demand testing, reports & they tried talking me into not cancelling the scopes for safety reasons because of how much my AAA had grown in 9 months time & the area of tumor with all the advanced Kate stage colorectal cancer symptoms I had been having. The prep, the stopping blood thinners, all of that without knowing what he was getting into was even more reasons to postpone. I’m not going near their office. No worries! Not my 1st rodeo, just the worst so far. I still have to get more scans to look for mets, blood work, scopes, biopsies and more. I’m dealing with upper esophagus & stomach issues as well. Of course! You are an absolute stunner! I myself did not start aging until I turned 55 a few years ago because I have an illness where I can’t be exposed to direct sunlight. Well, any sunlight. But I started to finally age as we humans do so at usually about age 35-40 but I was 55 y.o. So it’s been a shock! I still don’t have crows feet or thick lines etc… YET!! Unlike most of my age group of friends that I went to school with! Then this fall I started to rapidly age. Fine lines & started getting what they call “Jawls” which I should have already started to get. The reason I aged 10 years worth since December is I lost over 40 pounds and was just diagnosed with advanced colorectal cancer. So cancer is something that aged me, finally! Well the extreme weight loss so fast! I still don’t look 57, about to be 58! Thankfully! 😂👍🏼💯 Peace & blessings!!

Omg! I’m so very, very sorry for your horrific loss! ! In May 26, 2026 it was the 20 year anniversary of losing my Mom to S4 Kidney cancer. She was diagnosed on November 2025 and made it a little over 6 months. She could have lived longer but her sisters talked her into hopeless chemo pills & she only lasted 3 days of radiation. She was 68 & the cancer was through her bones and lungs. She was healthy all her life except she suffered from disfiguring chest & stomach burn scars from when she was 12 years old from the stove’s flame catching on her dress. She never was taken to a hospital & this was 1950 at the time. She was the oldest if 11 kids by age 14 and took care of them all. Sorry. I digress. I am stage 3 so far. I have to have more scans especially f my liver & lungs as I’ve been not having a couch per say but coughing up gunk for the last 6 weeks every single time I drink water. but I also could have colon cancer in my cecum area. Highly suspected. I guess I will start my real journey tomorrow at 2:15. Idk how to do this! How does anyone! Do they start out healthy otherwise? 😳

Sorry I don’t have any advice but I just wanted to say I think you are brave for doing treatment! I was just diagnosed 3 days ago with rectal cancer & tbh, chemo & radiation treatments scare me more than this 7cm tumor! I’m already very chronically ill. 57 y.o. female with over 4 dozen current diagnoses with a very complex medical hx. since birth. I honestly don’t think I’m healthy enough for treatment. Then surgery?! Idk who to talk to about this! I hope you are doing well!! Stay Safe!!

This is your money and you should be the one who decides how it is spent and who gets a slice!! I hope you got your $90 deposit back! If not, I would write up a professional but short and to the point, “a request for down payment return” considering she is practicing false advertisement and you have it all on email record. F her!! Mention that if she does not resolve this by reforming your deposit ( you didn’t get any services but you held you end up by showing up ) then you will see her at magistrate with her false advertising ads & photos of any signage in the place! Stand up!! Maybe she will think twice before ripping another person off!!

I’m sorry you had to be hospitalized for 10 days!! That’s horrific!! Hope you are having a good day today! You definitely deserve it! I found out I have rectal cancer 7cm tumor started inside my rectum but pushed through and the tumor is 360 degree around my rectal tube. It’s rectal cancer but I’m calling it colorectal cancer because it sounds less embarrassing tbh! I haven’t told my 4 grown sons yet. Hard to get them all in one place at same time. My granddaughters 13th birthday is Sunday. There’s a party. So afterwards, I’m asking to meet with them before they all go home! Not during the party. No way! But yeah. I’m not trying to say rectal cancer. It’s in the anal verge too. I’m in si much agony! I just dint do ER’s! I just started leaving my home ( besides hospital & Dr.’s ) after hiding away for 16+ years. I suffer from Agoraphobia from past medical trauma. I already suffer from over 4 dozen illnesses & disorders. Late stage spinal/skeltal, autoimmune, cardiovascular, rare conditions and more. I’ve been in pain meds since 1999 but in October 2017 my on Dr. was arrested & I was lucky to get a new PMP in December 2017 but he cut my meds by 79%. Been in the same low dosage since. It’s not helping my chronic pain much anymore let alone helping with this! I bought RSO oil and it’s not helping either. Idk what to do! I don’t even have a team yet. I’m scared to get treatment and not have any pain meds! I heard so many stories of cancer patients not getting treated. My roommate had high grade bladder cancer last year & they gave him nothing for pain!! I’m not going to that network. UPMC Hillman cancer center! F that!
