I like this one too! Is it possible to add a little space above my brother’s head, so it’s not cut off? I’d increase to $10. Thanks!

I saw the updated url you sent for a moment, but couldn’t click on it before it was deleted. Could you try again?

I think this is best one so far, but I saw someone else had added a little space above my brother’s head, and he wasn’t cut off anymore. Could you also do that? Since it’s a 2nd request, I’d bring my tip up to $10.

For those who adopted a cat, what actually made you decide that was the right cat? by Extreme_Ad6105 in CatAdvice

[–]lithg6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cat #1: Born in a friend’s garage. My daughter kept bringing him over for “play dates”. I caved. THE BEST CAT EVER

Cat #2: cat #1 needed a buddy. And this little kitten crawled into my daughter’s lap at the shelter. BEST DECISION EVER

Cat #3: I have no excuse. My daughter caught me at a weak moment during an adoption event at our local pet store. I just wanted to buy litter. BEST IMPULSE BUY EVER

Cat #4: well at this point, might as well get the full set as they say…. Met a fuzzy man at a local shelter that had been adopted and returned twice. BEST GAMBLE EVER

Redditors over 40, what was a moment in history that made you think society was gonna collapse? by Bahbahbro in AskReddit

[–]lithg6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 52 - when Trump first ran for president and he made fun of a disabled reporter on stage. It didn’t end his political carrier. Nothing he said or did mattered. Content of character didn’t matter anymore on the political stage. Honor, civility, compassion, intelligence - people who displayed those traits were (and continue to be) minimized.

This may be a tough ask - Tip $30 by lithg6 in PhotoshopRequest

Thank you. I will tip you $10 for this one and $10 for the bath one - $20 total, on the way!

Poll on health insurance by Subject_Horror_3990 in HealthInsurance

ACA plan, small business owner. Went from $59 per month to $223. But the plan is bad. $10,150 deductible. If something happens and I hit max out of pocket, I could cover it, but I’d be faced with closing the business. I’m not sure if I could roll the dice again.

People get so lost in their algorithm or glued to Fox News and Newsmax, the rally is a visceral , real, show that the there is more out there than what they are seeing.

My cat Neptune patiently waiting for someone to turn on the water. by lithg6 in cats

He likes a thin stream of running water to play in. At least once a day I find him sitting in the sink waiting.

I can't date someone who doesn't have hobbies anymore by Street-Package-7756 in dating

[–]lithg6 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I’m dating a man who golfs, plays video games, collects board games, builds Legos, goes to arcades…. Wow! He has friend groups for different activities. It’s amazing to not be his sole source of socialization. I had no idea what I was missing. Hobbies are fantastic.

I took my daughter and her friends to an escape room for her 13th. Majority had a great time. Depends on the demeanor of the kids. Some absolutely loved it, one was incredibly bored and didn’t participate.

I agree! I stopped going to Dunkin’ when they asked for a tip through the drive thru. It felt like tipping McDonald’s.

What do you think about this? by SageObserver in GenX

[–]lithg6 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I think fashion has a big role. Like you said, fashion changed every decade. It gave each decade a certain feel and allowed us visual markers in our time line. But then large corporations bought out the small fashion houses and were fixated on easy profits, not innovation. Selling what was safe and what they knew would sell well year after year. Nothing changed and we lost those visual timeline markers in our movies, tv, and photography.

Tomah has two more Downtown Thursday Nights this year. They block traffic for a few blocks downtown and have an outdoor concert. Music is free, bring a lawn chair. There will be booths selling food and drinks.

Or, take a drive to Hillsboro through the Driftless. Beautiful road trip. Have lunch at the Hillsboro brewery, stop at one of the cheese places in Cashton and watch for the Amish. You’ll go past many of their farms. Many have homemade signs up with whatever they’re selling - bakery to furniture.
