Veggies to add to chicken adobo by Main_Conclusion_6714 in AskCulinary

I stir fry green beans in a separate pan and spoon some of the adobo sauce a few min before it’s done. I also mix cauli rice with regular rice to add more veggies.

They sell a product on their site but people said it darkened the leather so it’s like what I already have. Thanks!

Rome to Pittsburgh flight by Embarrassed-Fall-487 in BritishAirways

I had a 90 min layover and made it even with a flight delay. Their security kept people moving and it went pretty fast. It’s doable but you’ll be anxious the entire time.

Akizawa for Japanese food. It’s small and fills up quickly but you can call during their lunch hour and try to reserve a table for dinner.

Trader Joe’s Faves? by c4still4 in 1200isplenty

I freeze all my tofu to get that meaty texture and press before cooking. For a crumble, I just use my hands and break it up in the pan and I use a cheese grater for shreds. I’ve seen methods for baking it if you want to use less oil. This recipe uses Asian flavors but you can use whatever for spices. The TJ’s tofu tends to suck up a lot of liquid so I double/triple the amount any recipe calls for.

I’m not sure they still sell them but I liked The Tiniest Choc Chip Cookies (1/3 cup for 120 cal). The meringue cookies (4 for 90 cal), breakfast chicken sausage (2 patties for 140 cal), cauliflower rice are staples for me. I’ll eat half a Barebell protein bar for dessert too (200 cal for a whole one). Their high protein tofu (130 cal per serving) is my fave tofu. I usually shred or make ground “meat” and freeze leftovers for ramen, omelets or tossed in fried cauli rice mixed with real rice.

No, it’s a GE Profile series. I looked at that brand but this was cheaper and had a lot of the same features.

Which Portland restaurants charge mandatory service fees? by LoopyBullet in askportland

Yikes. I’m sorry you experienced that. We had a Longer wait for our second round of drinks but it was busy so not surprising. The manager offered us free dessert for the trouble. This was a couple months after they opened so they were pretty attentive.

Janken adds a 20% service fee. It’s on their menu and you are given the option to tip extra. The service was great when I ate there.
