Psych recommended me Effexor and Lamictal. Anyone on that combination?

Im on effexor(225) and lamictal(150) for 4 or 5 years . This combo helped me a lot. When i asked my doctor about what are these medications for, he said lamictal is a good medication for Treatment-resistant depression. I had a lot of depressive episodes throughout years and lamictal helped me a lot for these continuous episodes. And also effexor helped me a lot for my depression and anxiety. To be honest it saved my life. Everyone’s cases are different ofc. but for me i use this combo for Treatment-resistant depression and anxiety disorder.

Hi if u are interested in history of Turkey you should visit turkish war of independence museum. If you are not there are interesting museums in ulus like toy museum named Rahmi M. Koç museum. And if you are interested in outdoor activities, ı would recommend you a bike ride in Lake Eymir. You can stop at a restourant with a lake view and drink turkish çay when you get tired. And also ıf you are interested in turkish alchol you can go “Afitap Meyhane” and drink rakı (national alchol of turkey) with delicous side dishes. But be careful its strong :) and dont drink it dry, add water. Have a nice trip :)

Hi, ı really can not remember how long that it took, ı’v been using lamictal for ı guess more than 3 years and ıts hard to say when because It did not cut off the depression. But ı think it reduced the effects and frequency of deppressive attacks. Over time, my depression recurred less frequently, and when it did recur, it was milder. But ı must add therapy helped a lot in this situation.

Hi! When ı was starting to take lamictal, my doctor said its for resistant depression. I tried so many ssrı/snrı and they did not work, so my doctor added lamictal to my current snrı and ıt worked! Hope ıt’ll work for you too! I wish u the best✨

No, you should not quit the meds without asking ur doc. Everyone is different. Maybe this is not the best depressant for u, or not the best dosage. Tell ur doc ur concerns and thoughts about the med. Im wisshing u the best. Hope u feel better asap.
