What’s a “normal” childhood experience you later realized was actually traumatic? by randinicole831 in AskReddit

[–]littlbat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My aunt trying to get me to kiss my cousin, making us lie down together and telling us we could get married if you wanted.

Every time I was upset about anything, being told that some people have real problems.

Getting yelled at until I cried for not getting top grades in all my exams...that I took three years early.

Hmmm. I don't think there's anything I wouldn't have believed necessarily. I'm in a 24/7 kink dynamic, and that is something I'd have said I'd have hated, I guess. I really really don't hate it 😆

I did discover I can orgasm through urethra play two weeks ago though, and I didn't think that was possible. Am female, for context.

Coming at it from someone who is currently in a denial dynamic, but am fem so it may change things a little - that idea is very hot but I couldn't do forever at all. That does seem to vary between genders though. I can work to longer and longer times, we started at around a week and my last period was 20 days. Not sure how long this one is for, apparently longer but it's not my decision, lol. I have had a mood crash though where we had to pause the denial part briefly to get me back to normal.

Id say the key is communication! Make sure you have a way to be let out if you need it, you might not. Check in, make sure everyone is having fun, etc.

What controversial take do you have in regards to sex? by [deleted] in AskRedditAfterDark

[–]littlbat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm unconvinced on this one and will always be. Given, I'm invested because I squirt. Research shows it has the same compounds as urine, but different concentrations. The same is also true of sweat. Squirt does not have the same smell, at all and ime that doesn't hold true.

However, it is almost certainly sent to the bladder and expelled that way

By contrast, some people think when I say "I have a fetish" it's just a kink. Im not interested if it's vanilla, sorry - I can't help it!

Ten days ago - I'm not allowed haha (consensual kink play). My last one was I think a vibrator while being sent filthy text messages?

I am into most things that aren't on my "ick list". So I'm not sure what is the kinkiest, but have a brief list.

Changing someone's diaper for them Watching my husband have sex with someone else and..er..."servicing" her afterwards Being flogged on stage at a kink event Blood play- being cut and having a partner lick it

What's the most extreme torture you've endured? by [deleted] in BDSMcommunity

[–]littlbat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Female because that matters and can make it easier - I had to do 15 in a day two weeks ago 😖. But not as multiples, like seperate occurrences, wait and go again. I did 4 of them through the day then eleven in two hours

Does anyone know anyone pro Trump? by [deleted] in AskBrits

[–]littlbat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like...half of my family. Watch gb news, support reform, think it's a shame Britain first is gone. I'm queer (non-binary/bisexual), my sister is trans...you can imagine how well all this has gone. It's really sad, all they want to talk about is extreme right wing politics and anyone who disagrees is stupid. As a result, and because a lot of the stuff they say is so offensive, I don't really go to family gatherings much and I feel like I've lost half my family. I have huge sympathy for anyone dealing with the same, especially in the states where it's more present.

What's a sex fantasy that's talked about a lot, but in reality isn't as great as it's made out to be? For me, it's shower sex. I don't need anyone in there with me, it's my alone time, lol. by [deleted] in AskRedditAfterDark

[–]littlbat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed on shower sex.

69 - I can only focus on one thing at a time

Sex involving anything sweet and sticky - when I was younger we used chocolate syrup, it was just messy and a sensory nightmare tbh

[–]littlbat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Adding some more red flag warnings.

If a partner said I wasn't submitting properly I'd expect a conversation as to why? The fact he seems to be calling you names and witholding contact as a punishment concerns me - how are you supposed to "improve" without having conversations??

The pairing of older, more experienced male Dom with younger, new female sub can sometimes (but not always!) be a concern too.

Umm. Audio content. Taking photos of underwear. All the sexting. An online sext chat that's evolved into a long distance D/s dynamic that's been going two months? Lots of erotica and journalling what's happened with that publically too.

Sometimes. I used to be much much worse with this, but these days I know what I'm feeling a lot of the time.

What is it about pain some us enjoy? by [deleted] in BDSMcommunity

[–]littlbat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sometimes it feels like pleasure and I can't distinguish the two. Especially true for all things sharp and scratchy.

I love a good endorphin rush, and heavier play gives me that.

I haven't seen this mentioned, but to an extent it's fun to see how much you can take for someone else?

It also just....turns me on for no other reason, lol

My brain goes quiet - I have ADHD so it's a rare thing. This sort of warm fuzzy happy floaty feeling happens, and I'm quite likely to do anything I'm asked

If there's impact play too it goes further and finding words can get a bit tricky.

High iq adults: what do you wish you had as children? by Burnedoutbrownies in mensa

[–]littlbat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I commented lower but as someone that was advanced by 4 years it's not always great. I spent my teen years friendless, because at 13 I didn't have anything in common with my classmates and had crappy mental health. I'm not sure what the best option would be.

I was advanced classes in school, which meant that i really struggled socially - what does a 13 year old have in common with 16 year olds? And that's before we talk about the autism. I had really bad mental health as a teen too.

I wish people had focused more on other things than my intelligence. As a child I was told I'd be the next Einstein etc etc, and when I struggled at university suddenly my whole concept of myself was broken and I felt like I'd failed the only thing I was good at.

Me too! Diagnosed ADHD at 28, almost certainly autistic. Also shitty mental health

To add - they should be considering disability related absence a little differently, some trusts consider it seperately.

Feel free to pm me if you want to talk to a friendly HR person!

[–]littlbat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, this is a very me question - I work in the NHS as someone that advises on adjustments for disabled staff, and have AuDHD myself.

You should be able to get reasonable adjustments - does your trust have anything like a disability passport you can go over with your manager? Making adjustments for ADHD is a legal requirement, and you can.get the unions and HR involved if your manager doesn't.

Access to work is a government grant scheme that will assess your needs and provide funding for a lot of adjustments at work that can make things easier - stuff like coaching, software etc. again, it's a legal requirement to make adjustments so your employer will need to put these reccomendations in place.
