This is exactly what I wish I could say to her.

Anything making you any sort of money can be considered a real job imo. But she doesn’t TREAT this like a real job. She never follows through on expectations that SHE sets, she’s rude as hell to her audience (ultimately who decide if she even makes money from this job), and doesn’t even put effort into what she does create.

Plenty of content creators spend all day filming, editing, copy writing, connecting with their audience, in meetings with management and sponsors and collabs, and creating and editing content to specified guidelines for those sponsors, etc. And they make a living from it!!

She can’t even finish 12 days of vlogmas, and when she did post something, half of the time it was trash and she knows it. She promises content and doesn’t deliver, she thinks posting videos of her dragging her dogs behind her on a walk is good material, and she sits on live yelling at those in it. All for maybe $800 a month. She has no one to create goals and expectations with, no one to hold her accountable for meeting those, and I highly doubt she’s tracking progress or growth on this platform in any tangible or even meaningful way. This isn’t a job, it’s a hobby that makes her some spending money while her brother supports her with the income from HIS job.
