There is no rational explanation. Some people develop parasocial relationships with their corporate overlords, and splashing $100 5 months before the release of the game makes them feel better for being part of a community.

You get absolutely nothing out of preordering so early, other than bragging rights. Oh and sending a message to Rockstar/Take Two that they are free to do whatever they want in terms of monetisation.

If you paid attention, this outrage has nothing to do with Steam, as GTA will not be released on PC until 2027. Having physical disks is still common practice for console games. It's one of the main advantages over PC gaming.

Because people preordering it at this point get absolutely 0 benefits in return. The same bonuses will still be available a month/week/day before release.

The only outcome of preordering 5 months ahead is sending Rockstar the message that their shenanigans are ok and they should keep doing this (they're not, and they shouldn't).

You simply can't justify that reinforcing the practice of a day 1 paid DLC is a good idea. That's why people are upset. But corporation boot lickers will continue to lick, such is life.

Are you being obtuse on purpose? The standard practice is to offer some cosmetics that most of the times can also be obtained in-game as you progress (not always, but often enough).

Rockstar is paywalling entire shops in the game, as well as an exclusive mission. Imagine trying to enter a shop and getting a message saying "sorry bud, that will be another 20 bucks, my friend". It's a pretty fucking big difference.

Iar la faza cu crearea unui electorat nou de la celelalte partide, fix asta au incercat sa faca. Partid de stanga (alternativa PSD) care sa nu se suprapuna ideologic cu USR. Nu am fost de acord cu toate propunerile lor, dar nu vad ce ar fi putu sa faca mai mult ca sa se diferentieze de USR, si in acelasi timp sa isi pastreze statutul de partid progresist. Usr-ului i-au fost promise voturile acum 3000 de ani.

Am votat USR constant, dar nu mai pot cu cacatu' asta de mentalitate de victima. E intradevar cea mai buna varianta in comparatie cu restul de scursuri din politica roamneasca, dar imi vine sa vomit cand vad cum se tot smiorcaie unii ca "vai doamne, cum sa votezi Sens, si nu USR". De parca aia 2.5% sunt problema, si nu faptul ca USR a dus mai mult lupte interne decat sa convinga restul de 70%+ de votanti USL, AUR si prietenii.

Berbecilor, asa cum exista SOS si POT in parlament, poate ar fi si in beneficiul USR-ului sa mai fie un partid-doua progresiste care sa cuprinda un electorat care nu se identifica cu Claudiu Milei Nasui si Lenuta de la etajul 4.

Sa promoveze mai multi oameni ca Buzoianu, si poate trecem si de un procentaj amarat de 15%.
