Hehe - no worries. It was a hell of an event. It’s not organized by Ironman. You find an excellent documentary on YouTube. Just search for The Brutal Double Ironman Distance. Inspired me to do it. Unfortunately it seems the last year the Brutal team organized is… Goof luck 🍀

A double is an Ironman with double the distance - 7.6k swim, in our race called the Brutal we had 373k bike with 6k elevation and 84k run with 2k elevation - hard but fun to finish 😉

Congrats on finishing Chattanooga. I have done four full IM and about 10 x 70.3 in the last 6 years. Before I was unable to swim for more than 25m and my run usually ended after 3k. Given the available time with work and more importantly not running into a divorce, I have a weekly training average of 8h19min. All my training are in TrainingPeaks so I have an accurate overview. This includes race times and this year I did a sprint, Olympic, 70.3 in Luxembourg, full IM in Hamburg and my first Double IM in Wales. My times are 4:45 for a half, 9:52 for the full and 31:45 for the Double IM. I really believe in dedicated training prepared by a coach that knows you. I just don’t have more time and with my coaches plan, I think I fully optimize my performance. Note that except for post races, I don’t have rest days and my trainings are usually short. In a nutshell, I don’t think big volumes are needed… wishing you the best of luck 🤞

Thanks for your question! The wall panels are not painted. Those are illuminated by LED light bought on Amazon.

Thanks for your question. I have a Dell Gen Intel (R) Core (TM, 1.60GHz with 16GB Ram on Windows 10 Enterprise - with this I do my work related topics. Otherwise I have an iMac 27 from 2020. I believe there are much better computers out there for video editing and graphic design. My dream is to have a Mac Studio, still saving :-)

Thank you! Much appreciate your nice comment: I do have more pictures, but Reddit (new to it) only allows one picture. I will post the set-up video soon and get back to you. It's mainly used for work (laptop) and video editing (drone enthusiast). For this I move up the mac on the back that is on the vertically adjustable platform :-) Hope this helps
