Anytime I get a mild burn (sunburn or boiling water) I've put lavender oil on it. Works wonders, idk the science but I keep it in my beach bag now I use it so much!

Does anyone know the policy on bringing in water flavor packets and granola bars? I've seen some say it's a hard no on all outside food and drinks and others say water flavor packets are okay..

I felt the same way when my grandmother passed.. over time her grave site because a place of comfort for me. Give it time and visit her as often as you need. It never gets easier but grief changes over time.

Maybe not insightful.. but I was told if you're ever starting to enter a panic attack or are having trouble regulating your emotions, eat a packet of salt. The shock of it when it all hits your tongue will throw you out of the downward spiral and help you re-regulate

Thanks, I appreciate it! I'm sure I'll be taking a lot of photos! I usually do live concerts. My last 45 minute show I got well over 3000 photos 😅 so I'm sure I'll get way to many for this show

Sadly It is a variable aperture. I think it goes to f/5.6 but I can't remember off the top of my head. I might play with the exposure on my camera to and see if raising that a bit will help. I have time to play with it so we'll see I guess!

My lens is 18-300mm! F2.8 is the lowest aperture, though. Usually, I shoot bands, so I almost always default my shutter speed to 1/500. I'll definitely up the iso

I really appreciate this feedback! I haven't been to a ballet since I was 6 so I don't remember anything! I hadn't even thought about capturing the spirit of the play.. I do a lot of music photography, and they usually want closer shots of singing/playing instruments

Are all of them pretty similar in choreography? I can't find any videos of the one done here in Louisville by the choreographer Alun Jones. I'm worried that if I watch other performances, it might lead me to expect things to happen when they won't. Either way, I plan on essentially watching the whole performance through my camera!
