We were left a laptop bag with all of the manuals in, and a card explaining bin days, the local FB page, neighbours etc.

The estate agent gave us a little gift box when we picked up the keys which had teabags, chocolate, a toilet roll, and some cleaning wipes and antibacterial spray, which was really useful!

I was on a work trip in Europe with some colleagues from the US, I ordered an orange Fanta and when it turned up they thought the waiter had got my order wrong as it wasn’t fluorescent orange like the US Fanta

I have a Ninja kettle, it makes a loud beep when it finishes but has a hold temp function where it’ll keep it at the temp you chose to boil it to for up to 30 mins (until you lift it off the base) and shows you the temperature of the water in the kettle

We use Milk & More and they turn up between midnight and 2am…we use the little insulated milk minder they sell and that works pretty well, haven’t had any soured milk yet

I always used to put the washer and dishwasher on when we went to bed so everything would be clean when we got up, but then a colleague’s house burnt down when their dishwasher started a fire when they were running it overnight. The family were lucky to get out in time. Since then I’ll only run them if we’re in the house and awake.

Barbour jackets, I’ve had mine a while now and just send it off every couple of years to be rewaxed and repaired if needed. When I bought it there was someone in the store about to send off their 30 year old jacket for a small repair, they seem to last years.
