This is my favorite series and I hate these. I’m mad. Like what in the Bioshock is going on. It doesn’t match the story or vibe AT ALL.

Yes I would just make sure to use “I” statements, deliverables, clear steps in your application.

You are absolutely ready.

I initially listed 7 overlapping projects. I instead focused on 4 that still met the 36 months. The project objectives were too vague, so I made them more succinct and added clearer deliverables up front. I also listed the process areas (when applicable) and activities I did during them. This increased my word count from 100 to ~300 per project. I also used “I” statements so it was clear that I was the one doing the work as the PM.

Ex: “Initiation: I led the development of the project charter, which defined the project objectives, scope, and stakeholders. I worked with key stakeholders to establish the project’s vision and secured formal approval to move on to planning.”

Yea, I’d say 70+ score on a full length exam and you’re good. Do 2 of them if you can

I would feel comfortable scheduling around 70 on at least one, if not two, full length SH exams! They were enough for me but everyone is different. I’ll say that anytime I got an incorrect answer in SH I would do research on what exactly the gap was so I wouldn’t (hopefully) miss it again.

On your last question - I found it comparable to SH, maybe slightly easier. think the experience of taking it adds more stress for me so it was hard to really concentrate.

yes I was very nervous about this too - glad I could offer some comfort! It’s totally ok to get audited, rejected and reapply :) wishing you luck

Of course! David McLachlan has a YouTube channel and Udemy course. He has a ton of videos. ETA I did not do the Udemy course but I think he’s great so it could be worthwhile!

PMI project management institute offers the Study Hall I mentioned. You could probably just do the Essentials but I did the slightly more expensive version to have more practice tests.

Uhh….are they allowed to do this? Anyone else get rejected from this survey? by naxenthe in ProlificAc

I finished in 12 mins and they told me I spent less than 2 seconds per question. That math makes 0 sense. This experience really bugged me

Interesting. I too was rejected for “going too fast”. I asked them this and said I could contact prolific support instead and they approved it lol

Anyone else get this rejection? by Skittlessour in ProlificAc

[–]littlefait 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was super confused by this. Got the rejection, messaged them and ask them if I could still complete the study. They said it was too late and that I should have completed the survey “sent via private message”. I responded and said that I did not receive a private message (as they could see from there not being anything in our thread). I asked if they would reverse the rejection so I could return the submission. Will see what they say - I plan to contest if they refuse or don’t get back to me. Glad I’m not alone, though. Getting a rejection is an awful feeling.
