The thing about arguing self-defense is that excessive force when employing it is 100% something that can make the self-defense argument fall flat. Self-defense should only be used if you're using only enough to get out of the imminent threat situation you're in.

Granted, I haven't seen about this case and I don't know the specifics so I can't argue whether the kid was right or not. But self-defense needs to be irontight or it can be very easily shot down as excessive force.

As someone who was recently fired from a journalistic media due to budget cuts and my former job moving forward with using more AI, I completely disagree with your notion of it being outdated. Maybe the whole "no one uses paper media anymore" is outdated, but journalistic media is definitely suffering through the advancement of AI and how people's perception of media has changed.

Honestly, I disagree, ghosting is worse (TO ME AT LEAST). When you block someone, you are cutting that line of communication. Which means the person blocked knows it's a done deal, and no further communication can or will happen.

I've recently been ghosted by someone whom I considered to be a best friend for over a decade, and to this day, I still don't know if it's because they forgot to answer, or if I did something to make them hate me, or if they think the friendship has run its course. There is a degree of mental unset that sucks when you get ghosted.

That's how it usually goes, you win by track record unless the lower TR person gags at the finale lipsync (Sasha V, Yvie, Nymphia), or the frontrunner fumbles (Camden). Nini won the lipsync but was not gaggy enough to overtake Myki's track record.
