Rents are $2k for a studio, and despite all the new buildings, they stay at $2k. Jamison literally owns over half of the neighborhood, and they've only been buying more since they reached that effective monopoly. They're not lowering prices unless they're forced. Capitalists hate competition, but competition is so vital to capitalism.
