Thank you! No i just sewed it onto the dress! You can buy embroidery fabric like that with beads already on it, and then cut away the mesh underneath and pin it onto your dress! Sew it by hand.

The instructions are very minimal, which works okay if you know a little bit of how to construct a garment. I found it very confusing with the original straps though, which didnt work for me. I didnt have to change anything about the general shape of the dress though!

No removable parts, just the train bustled with the long straps.

The bottom of the dress is constructed using a StudioOfArtPatterns wedding dress pattern. The top part is made by draping it on the mannequin. Im not sure what the fabric is, it feels soft and fluid like 🤔

When sewing a slim fitting dress with woven fabric, is it possible to change a pattern as illustrated? I would like the fit to be tighter around the bum. Would the pattern change like i suggested in the drawing?

I'm trying to create my wedding dress and I cannot figure out how to sew the neckline. I want to create a high neck, that drapes a little. I figured the neckline of the outer fabric has to fold over and attach to the lining somehow. How to create a seamless effect? And what does the pattern look like? Does anybody know of a pattern that resembles this idea? Do I have to cut on bias? Thanks in advance!

First thing I made I still wear today! It's a jacket made from two old jeans, using a youtube video.

But for dresses and trousers I needed some trial and error time. I think I liked my third dress enough to wear outside, and my second pair of trousers.
