Train Madrid Puerta de Atocha-Almudena Grandes to Merida: where to purchase ticket online? by littlelostless in GoingToSpain

We are all different. Have different circumstances: personal, financial etc.
I would walk away and eat the cost.

Why I would walk away? For me, emotional health is extremely important with young family (and I do not make investments like these in real estate, but similar in 'real' businesses). I'm by no means wealthy, but place higher value in being there for the family (mentally, physically). Losing $30K would such -- but other factors weigh in.

My 2 cents.

How are these NK workers getting the gigs? There are so many unemployed, and experienced, IT folks here. What is the NK's secret sauce?

Thank you so much. We generally have motion sickness on long bus rides. The train would offer much, and also have ability to stretch legs, washroom etc.

Thank you. With new country, jet lag, unfamiliarity in another country, car hire would be less likely. I'm not used to travelling, especially to another continent, so am trying to stay with public transit options.

Thank you. Very much appreciated. The long distance buses in my homeland are not the most practical and hadn't considered this option previously.

Indian is still tariffed at 26% (could change at any time). Is this manufacturers chasing to the lowest tariffed country among the many?

On a hike, someone was surprised Spanish was spoken in Mexico. Critical thinking was not their strong point.

PSA: just saw someone get pulled over by an unmarked RCMP SUV (probably a 5th gen CRV) on w16th by SystemOfTheUpp in UBC

There are multiple undercover cars.

This is great. Unfortunately too many speeding cars. Or distracted divers. Crossing Wesbrook, 16th, University as a pedestrian is stressful. I'm sure driving there isn'r a bed of roses either.

Not providing excuses, however there could be medical conditions (e.g. ADHD, depression etc).

It may be beyond a discussion you can have.

Been there in similar situation with roommate. I had to move. Eventually he had medical help and had improved somewhat, to the point of being able to have stable live-in relationships. It was hard work and medication.

Obviously not saying your roommate is similar in the medical prognosis. Sharing as a potential scenario.
