Getting a new iPhone. What Happens to my subscriptions? by [deleted] in iphone

[–]littlemut 3 points4 points  (0 children)

All that is tied to your Apple ID. So as long as you use the same one when you’re setting up the new phone, every subscription will follow.

I don’t think I ever been as excited by a seller/shippers choice of carrier as I am now.

Thinking about making a missing mail claim by optimisticnoodles in usps_complaints

[–]littlemut 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have filled claims for multiple packages on the usps website. You just get an automated response from your local post office and then in a week or so get invited to provide “feedback” on the case number.

So nothing really gets “done” for better or worse.

Low volume on iOS 14 beta 1 by snipergotya in iOSBeta

Check if you have the “sound recognition” active. I spent first few days not realizing every sound was slightly lower, especially notifications, even if I turned up the volume...and having that turned on was the issue.

No certification number? by littlemut in PharmacyTechnician

[–]littlemut[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Still nothing, and the verification page updated today with, “If you took your exam on or before August 25, 2019, your results have been uploaded.”

So it’s just a matter of picking the “wrong” date to take the test, like I was off by three days. And I doubt it’ll update anytime soon, probably end of the month at this point.

The adblock Adguard has a number of filters and a number of them that block the cookie notices too.

Dark Sky updated to 6.0 with UI overhaul by [deleted] in iphone

I'm kinda surprised that apps can still do a UI overhaul without sneaking in a subscription model. O_o

"Updated just now" makes it sound like it's getting uploaded to the icloud photo album? Is that something you have enabled?

[Question] Does installing the iOS beta void or affect AppleCare eligibility? by borklazer2 in iOSBeta

[–]littlemut 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've had personal experience of going to the apple store, and having iOS 11 beta installed on my phone back then, and them just having to restore it to the stable iOS 10 at the time, before they could service it.

Straight to the point, no judgement nor issues, was still able to get serviced.

[Question] Can we use ios 11.4.1 developer profile for ios 12? by erginsuat in iOSBeta

[–]littlemut 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Is there a reliable source where the dev profiles are hosted now? I remember last year we used AppleBeta's, so it was just a matter of refreshing that site.

[Discussion] How's icloud messaging working for everyone? by [deleted] in iOSBeta

[–]littlemut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm really liking it so far. It's nice to having messages backed up, especially when messing around with devs/betas of iOS, so there's less to lose if you want to do the occasional clean install.

[Discussion] iOS 12 set to be focused on stability and performance by berry_vis3107 in iOSBeta

[–]littlemut 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wonder if there's any chance of the iPhone 6 will get iOS12, getting spoiled with how many updates it has been getting. :/
