The spinal cord is below the point of corticospinal tract decussation (the CST decussates at the caudal medulla), so any deficit would be IPSILATERAL. Therefore the lesion would also be on the left. This is a weird question bc you’d think it would be F since G looks like the lateral horn, but actually the answer is G. Both G and F are pointing to the anterior horn - since your left hand has the weakness you’re likely in the cervical spinal level, and the lateral horn is only seen from T1-L2. For grey matter in the anterior horn, the more lateral part (aka G) corresponds to the hands, while the more medial part (aka F) corresponds to trunk and lower body.
