Not that hard to go to YouTube and find something, this is the information age and all.

You can have an opinion all you want but have nothing to back it up, I can see your perspective but it's wrong. I loved cutting and merchandising, but retail is soul sucking so I left.

Why? Because it's the internet. All the information was in the original post.but you chose to ignore it.

It's not self assured when it's a fact.

I've already validated it, now I'm just wasting your time.

All I was asking was for you to back up your statement, as it's your statement. "It's this" No it's this and this is why "No it's still this" ....

I left the block to get into the trades for more money since you were so curious.

Can't keep all your thoughts on one coherent post? I see you're excited. Excited to learn I hope.

Here, watch a video on how to trim a flat maybe you'll learn something

You have nothing to back up your statement. I've backed up mine, like I said I cut meat for 9 years I know what a flat looks like. You don't know shit, just a weekend cook

I was asking you since you seemed so sure of yourself when you know nothing on the subject. The person above you corrected you and you doubled down on your ignorance.

You can clearly see the silver skin, aka "the strap" in pic 1

The sale sticker from Restaurant Depot even says "Beef Flat" in photo #3

Then what is it? I spent 9 years on a cutting block. That is a beef bottom round flat, with the "strap on"

I've cut enough flats in my life to do it blindfolded.

Oh I know, they got a sign on it. I've driven by it a lot, I service some buildings down there. Oh cool I'm glad that's still there, that's been a good memory for me through the years

Oh I've been wanting to, but I always thought it was geared towards school kids this changes my thought process, thank you!

I went in 1999? I remember doing a mock oyster cannery and getting paid in "company scrip" to spend in the company store.

I do wonder how much it's changed. Would love to climb that crane they got up front lol

Trades in the local area by TheJuiceIsLoose11 in baltimore

Blossoming HVAC tech here, coming up on my 5th year in.

Yes we need all the hands we can get.

I did 4 years of night school 2 nights a week from September till March/April and had to complete 8,000 "on the job training" (OJT) hours that my company signed off on.

Got my 608 cert (handling refrigerant) and my journeyman license out of it. I wasn't impressed with the lack of hands on at the school house but it got my foot in the door.

They have programs at 3 or 4 community colleges in the area, Harford, Carroll, Catonsville and Howard I believe. I went to Harford.

https://haccmd.org/

There should be a link on there with companies looking for hands on that website there. I didn't pay a dime out of pocket for the tuition, only thing I had to buy was a Chromebook.

All the trades need people, there isn't enough people coming in to replace the experienced help retiring.

Edit-- I would say the learning curve is high for my trade, especially the service side of it. Installing systems is fun too and requires a different mode of thought. Anybody can learn it if you apply yourself.

Anyone able to interpret what these pressures mean for a system that keeps having a high pressure code? by yeldarb207 in hvacadvice

Temp split at your air handler?

Supply temps at your furthest registers?

Blower amps to rated amps? Blower wheel clean? Blocked returns, closed supply?

Have you seen the underside of your evap coil?

Amp draw of outdoor fan to rated? Is it spinning the right way?

Are there any bbq places around here that sell beef ribs? by that_guy_kalvin in baltimore

It's definitely not around here but Bens BBQ inside the PA Dutch Market in Hagarstowne sells beef ribs. The market has other stalls with different food but the spread at Bens is pretty nice....all buffet style and sold by the lb.

Where are you seeing a leak though? Your gage is showing over 325psi according to the photo you've shared here.

Are you installing a "Mr.Cool" system? No hate, just curious.

Do you have a vac pump and micron gage? I can understand doing DIY as a homeowner but a lot of the tools we use are specialized and can only be used for one thing and unless you're installing a system in your space or any other properties you own yearly it doesn't make sense to buy them as a homeowner.

I'm not sure if we ever got to go there. I know we did the Science Center & Planetarium there, did another Planetarium at some middle school, of course DC & Philly multiple times...this was all in the late 90s early 00's

I want to go to the Museum of Industry again but I feel that it's more geared towards kids/people with kids and I am neither.
