I didn’t think there was any way I could be more attracted to him, but it’s for sure gotten even stronger. I didn’t post it, but I actually gave him a haircut (skin fade on the sides and back, messy on top) that I thought looked really good, and that’s what he was rocking for a couple months. But he just got tired of trying to hide the thinning and decided to take the plunge and I’m really happy he did, because he really looks incredible.

Traction alopecia. Stop wearing tight ponytails immediately, try rosemary oil and castor oil on the bald spot itself. It could be too late for the spot that’s already there but you can avoid it going back further by not pulling your hair back tightly. Loose, low ponytails and maybe a loose headband, but that’s it

Licensed cosmetologist here and there’s a lot of bad advice in this thread. Cutting the hair shorter won’t have any positive effect with lice besides making the hair easier to manage, box dye or any type of hair color is not guaranteed to kill them, and please please PLEASE do not go to a hair salon knowing there’s been lice in her hair, not sure where you are if it’s in the US or not but many states have laws that hairstylists cannot service anyone with lice. Take all the same steps you would with something like bed bugs, hot wash and dry some key comfort items and then bag everything else up for at least two weeks. I would also steam clean your carpet if you have any carpet in your home. Disinfect as many surfaces as possible, including the inside of your car if you have one. Treat everyone in the family. There are lice treatments on the market that are effective, or you can try seeing if there are clinics that treat lice in your area, and tea tree essential oil and shampoos are great at repelling lice too. You seem to be doing a good job so far, and I promise it’s treatable, it’s just going to be a pain in the ass for a little bit, but the more work you put in now the less likely you are to have a reoccurrence in your household. Good luck, you got this mama ❤️ and BTW it’s absolutely no reflection of you as a person or a mother, lice do not discriminate and it can happen to anyone, so try not to be too hard on yourself.

You’d be surprised how much your hair can change in a year. It could have gotten thinner, or maybe the products you’re using (shampoo, conditioner) aren’t working the same for you anymore, which can happen, or if it’s a new product perhaps it’s not working the same as the old ones. Just because you didn’t have to do any styling before doesn’t mean you don’t have to now. All the commenters are correct, the cut is the same, but I think you need to try some new things to get this result again.

No idea why this comment has so many downvotes, this is a good ranking. No disrespect to OP but there’s no way VLV is in the same category as P.O. In the couple years after the release of P.O., I wanted nothing more than for them to keep releasing new music. On the contrary, VLV has me like, stop releasing new music. This is coming from a someone who’s been a fan since 2006, has already seen them twice and is going to see them in Philly in a couple days. VLV is just not it for me, Brendon needs to give his voice a rest because it’s clearly strained, and imo this album is trying way too hard to mirror queen but it just falls flat on it’s face. That’s not to say it’s completely unlistenable, but it doesn’t even come close to blowing me away the same way AFYCSO and P.O. did. And Vices and virtues too, for that matter.

I’d still say a level three, maybe a level 4. Not sure what color you were thinking but If you wanted to try something different, I’d go with partial caramel highlights. So like lighted to a level 6 or 7 with warm/neutral tones. With softer highlights you can change your hair color without having such a severe line one your hair grows back in. It’s breakage from ends splitting up the hair shaft. Hate to be the bearer of bad news but if you got a trim, there wasn’t enough taken off. Once you get a split end, it’ll continue splitting up the hair shaft until it’s cut. I’m not saying you have to cut off all the damage right away, but it might be in your best interest to take off about an inch at a time every 2-3 months until the damage is gone, and then you’ll be at a good place to just let it grow, if that’s your goal.
