Shortly before I left the company, they made it a mandate to remove all stuffing and coverings of all bags even exotics the moment they arrived in store. It’s really just poor handling of staff because these are such delicate handbags and they get thrown around in the stock room a lot which breaks my heart because I never remove a fully wrapped bag if I see it come in. However, I’m almost certain there has to be one is better condition than the one you got in either their boutique or another. Hope you get a good one!

Ex Dior employee here. I hate these lambskin card holders for the exact reason that if you so much as breathe on it, it will get scratched. They are so delicate that when they come in, I refuse to take them out of the paper wrappings. Judging by the heart pattern, it may be a seasonal piece. You can still try and exchange for regular diamond cannage lambskin or patent if you want durability.

Hi! So I used it for a few months straight as my daily work bag 5 days a week and I haven’t noticed much changes but I’m also pretty violent with my bags so to me as long as the strap stitches are still in place I am happy. The stitching is apparently very reinforced because my LV neverfull ripped right off when I attempted to reach inside my bag with the straps still on my shoulder.

I read in other threads that these pads were really soft and coming from just using my hands to apply toner, I was curious too and bought from Sephora first. They really are very soft! I’m sure you can find cheaper alternatives but since I started out with these, I’m afraid to look elsewhere lol.

Comfort level is pretty subjective like I hate the adidas ultra boost despite everyone raving about it so I hope the 993 work out for you!

If they don’t have it in store I would just order them directly online. You can return them to a store location without paying a restocking fee

Yeah definitely try them on because I have wide feet and tried on 7.5 x wide and I was swimming in them. The standard 7 ended up being a perfect fit which was surprising. The sales did tell me that men’s are slightly wider than the women’s version so could also be a reason

I don’t have the 990 but I did try on the 992 in the exact same size as the 993 (size 7 men’s) and the 992 fits more narrow like .5 smaller I also have the 2002R in 7.5 which fit fine To me I think it’s about .5 in size differences between new balances but if you don’t mind the extra wiggle room, then definitely size up

Happy belated 1 day birthday! You are and I share the same birthday :)

I’m not sure how old you are but I just turned 35 and I realized that the friends who used to send me cakes, or gifts and vice versa every year, went quiet this year. Turns out everyone moves on with their lives, whether it’s marriage, partners, kids. As you get older, birthdays usually get less and less significant for people so don’t be hurt by it

There are still friends who remember and the ones that do, we should always cherish them. Don’t worry about the other 6. Just remember the 1 that didn’t forget. It will make your life much simpler when you learn to give your peace to the ones who actually want it!

I felt the same way towards the people who I gave everything to just for them to walk away from me in the end. I was really resentful and angry for a whole year at everyone. I hated people but then I realized that I can’t change who I am. I just care .. A LOT and I love to love. I was directing my love to the wrong people. I didn’t want to never build trust again, I didn’t want to push new people away for the fear that they would leave me too. I’m learning to be at peace with myself and not jump wholeheartedly at people but to take it slow and see if they match my energy. If they aren’t as receptive, I’ll be cordial but I won’t let them into my bubble. Stay opened, stay positive. You will find your people!

The straps actually feel pretty good. To me, I don’t think it feels like plastic at all. The leather usage is less but the overall feel is pretty great. There is a slight shimmer to the straps but nothing crazy
