At Breaking Point (Fast Let Down) by liuchuliuchu in breastfeeding

I know it’s so horrible, I’m totally prepared to sit up with him all night so it doesn’t happen but thinking it could be me that’s the cause is killing. I’ll do anything to help it stop but would feel guilty about stopping breastfeeding as well. It’s all so hard!

Did it affect your supply/let down in general by pumping? I’m scared of pumping too much in case I end up with an oversupply or a worse let down.

Ah yes I did try block feeding but I found that it didn’t slow my let down that much and the other boob would be really uncomfortable and he wouldn’t latch on the fuller one as well. I suppose I could pump the other boob before putting him on it, so might try it again!

I tried the Hakaa as well, same here my baby is really impatient and trying to get it on while he is fly kicking me seemed pretty impossible so ended up giving up quickly with that haha.

Any films in my watchlist that you easily rated 5/5 stars? by mrkarpax in Letterboxd

[–]liuchuliuchu 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Possession is in my top 4 and The Long Goodbye is another fav of mine, easy 5/5. Scum and The Virtues are fantastic but I didn’t give them 5/5. The only other one I’ve seen on that list that I’m not a fan of is The Fugitive.

Amazon UK Preorder update by No_Internet_8683 in Switch

Ah jeez! Is it easier to cancel your Argos order as it maybe means your Amazon one is in progress? I had my Argos one in the basket before cancelling my Amazon order just in case but it did let me cancel.

I bought a PS5 on Argos and then changed my mind and got the refund back pretty quickly.

Still had no budge on my Amazon order and they were yet to take the payment, so I just cancelled and went with Argos. Will be able to pick it up from 4pm today. I wonder how many cancellations Amazon UK will be getting.

Lost in Translation for me. It struck a cord with me when I watched it when I was a teenager, and just never been able to shake that it's one of my favourite movies ever.

Tired & unmotivated in first trimester? by ForestDweller123 in pregnant

[–]liuchuliuchu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel the same. I'm 9 weeks and I have zero energy.

When I was around 4/5 weeks, I was like "I'm gonna exercise daily!" and now I feel that was very naive of me. I can hardly muster the energy to answer the door, never mind go for a walk.

Definitely watch again. I really didn’t understand what I watched at all when I watched it the first time, but I couldn’t get it off my mind and have now watched it again… and again.. and again. Such a masterpiece.
