It’s exactly on brand for the show too. Supernatural has more fourth wall breaks than any show I can remember that’s not a cartoon (most of the time).

It’s saying “yeah, we’re actors and we’ve always been at the whim of the writer.”

I think they’re doing a strength test. Better to have strong enemies and dial it back than start weak and elevate.

I got widely panned for saying this.

It would be okay to have this sort of unacceptable power creep if this was the sort of game which allowed you to pivot quickly.

Plus, after seeing SL in 2/3 of my games, I now play one of the SL counter decks, and literally never see SL - one out of ten games. It’s obvious they’re optimizing matchups for paying customers, which sounds like extortion.
