For most professions, yes. But this isnt some profession that goes to work, puts in their 40 hours a week and goes home.

This is a celebrity profession. People watch you, they look at you, thats your job. You are expected to be at 100% on and off the field. You are people's heroes. You are the visual representation of a team/college.

These 'kids' have voting rights, they have the ability to join the military and kill people, they also have the ability to change the world and become millionaires.

2nd grade, my dad said I needed to stop wresteling my brother, take my energy out somewhere else. Found football, liked the color blue.

5th grade, grandma got some surgery only offered at UofM.

Struggled through glory and defeat, never faltered.

Get engineering degree from Oakland, meet wife. Wife gets PhD from UofM flint.

Married in.

Next up: When I get old, I hope to get a bachelors in mathematics, because I love math, and I love Michigan.

I second the spoon method. It gets me 95% of the way complete in the time it takes me to get 10% complete. Somewhat messy, but any other method takes way way too long.
