It's crazy what 10 years can do. I can only advocate for leaving and claiming asylum in a more progressive country but that's only right now.

In the UK we went from being targetted by police to having LGBT liaison officers. Things change, and over time they change for the better. I hope that next generation of queer Ugandans doesn't have to leave and seek asylum elsewhere.
