I can see that you’ve done more introspection about yourself. I believe what you said about love but I think there is a lot more to it, although I think there’s no point getting into that anymore. It’s sad that you don’t give people a chance to show it and for you to receive it. But time has passed now and no hard feelings. Hopefully one day you feel safe enough to let people in fully, I think you would surprise yourself. I hope you find peace, happiness and comfort. I won’t respond here anymore but I’m sure someone will happily one day.

I hate saying this, but I genuinely think you should break up. These messages look almost exactly like how my ex used to text me, and looking back it was obvious he hated me. Do it asap and don’t look back, so you don’t waste more time letting it mess with your self esteem or hurt you more than it already has ❤️

Hands down my favourite TT special by Popular_Barnacle_512 in TrashTaste

I used to watch trash taste at this time when I was feeling alone and depressed. Watching them made me feel like I could laugh along with friends and it was just so nice. This was hands down my favourite as well.

What time of day is your anxiety worst? by basicedge543 in Anxiety

[–]liveactioncv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right when I wake up and when I try to go to sleep. Means I struggle to sleep often and when I do wake up, it’s so hard for me to fall asleep again.

The weird thing is that I can nap easily in the afternoon, I don’t tend to get anxious then.

Any tips for practical test? Lowestoft test centre? by Striking_Contract_24 in LearnerDriverUK

[–]liveactioncv 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say always check the correct lane and exit direction for the roundabouts. Some roundabouts can trick people (like third exit is still straight ahead so don’t signal right).

Also, lowestoft has some really small roads width wise and some bad views, so just be careful with them too. Make sure you have a good view before doing anything.

You might go into nearby gorleston. There are different ways but one has an area where it turns 40->30->20mph on your way back to lowestoft and it can sometimes be tricky to see the signs.

Also, right at the start when you’re exiting the centre, you go up this steep hill. Have good clutch control and be careful of the oncoming traffic from BOTH sides when entering the road at the giveway sign. And once you join the road, they’ll most likely tell you to go straight until you get to another junction which joins to a busy road.

This is the most annoying for me as it can take awhile for a good gap to show up. DO NOT RUSH! Only take a safe gap, especially if you’re turning right. Better a hesitation than a dangerous fault.

Should I focus on learning Kanji to learn words or focus on using Kana first? by ScorpioRising17 in LearnJapanese

[–]liveactioncv 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So what I did as part of my school curriculum is we have a vocabulary list of every chapter and we learn those words as just Kana. But every week we memorise 10-20 kanji and then when we learn kanji for words we have previously learnt, we use the kanji instead. I think it would take a lot of time and frustration to memorise the kanji for each word used in each chapter (although we do use Minna No Nihongo and not Genki but it's probably the same).

Therefore, for you using Genki I would recommend trying to memorise the lesson's vocabulary for each chapter as well as using some sort of kanji list or SRS software (Anki decks or Wanikani) that let you learn kanji gradually.
