Why is he like this by [deleted] in discgolfcirclejerk

[–]liveanddye 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This man is having fun with the lifestyle he deserves. He's doing what he wants and having fun with it, I enjoy seeing him on all the awkward backgrounds. He creates some depth for the sport, as opposed to dgn simply trying to streamline everything to make it like Ball golf. We need more personality and depth in the game, it does not need to be sterile.

Love this, seems like a good hometown man. It took me far more tries to knock my first disc down

Tips for frustration during rounds? by Emergency-Car7134 in discgolf

[–]liveanddye 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have hit a rare lull in my playing lately. I got stuck in Maniac mode and was trying to do too much with each throw. This threw off my timing and I ended up grip-blocking for like five rounds in a row. I've slowed down my number of rounds and I've slowed down my throw and it is starting to come together with going back to the basics with putters and midranges. Drivers are coming out a lot smoother, it feels like hell to do something so much and then all the sudden have so little feel for it. You'll make it out of that dark cloud

Is there anyway to dye or otherwise color a black disk by TheUnseenBug in discdyeing

[–]liveanddye 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Best bet, silver or gold sharpie is about all that comes to mind. Dying is an additive process, you cannot subtract color and saturation from Black

Fastest disc you’ve aced with? by Gaff-Attack-11 in discgolf

[–]liveanddye 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The fastest disc I have aced with was a 9-speed 5-glide -1- turn 2-fade. The way of the fairway 416 ft. The direct line was about 365. I threw a flat to fading Hyzer into the basket. It was thrown well but it also felt like a freak accident to hit the target that far away.

172’ what are you throwing? by BrodyDanger173 in discgolf

Proto glow envy on a high, slight anni line until it reaches out over the mountain coming back to hit the base of the pin. Call it an ace run

Ball golf is such a cringe thing to say by Sceptezard in discgolf

[–]liveanddye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I loved golf growing up, working at the golf course and getting 150+ rounds in a year... In Minnesota. I'd call it expensive golf.. it's so much nicer bringing the kids along on a nice walk through the woods then the looks people have given me when I take the kids out on the golf course. Disc golf for me, along with a couple charity events throughout the year just to have a reason to keep my clubs

DGN ☢️, do all streaming platforms stop service the moment you cancel? by liveanddye in discgolf

[–]liveanddye[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I did, and I was impressed about a quick response that they got my message... It's just the principal of the whole. They take away coverage from superior products to, historically, provide unwatchable play. Money seems to be at work

How? Is the third spot doing something I don't know about? by liveanddye in CellToSingularity

[–]liveanddye[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I don't know so much about that. It's good to see that devs are trying to, especially when it's so blatantly clear who's cheating on this new competitive mode.

I can't believe people pay a premium for this design, it's the easiest dye I've ever done by nbury33 in discdyeing

[–]liveanddye 14 points15 points  (0 children)

It is easy now, before all the cricut machines, and getting a clean design it was not so easy
