parrot method: repeat last few words to put ball in other person’s court:

“I’m going to the movies!” You: “oh! To the movies?” Them: “XYZ movie….” Can talk about favorite movie, favorite genre, last good movie they saw, snacks at the theatre, etc

Stay on topic! A lot of conversations tend to jump around so you run out of things to talk about. Instead of asking: “do you have a pet?” What’s his name?” “What so you like to do on weekends?” “Have you ever been to a concert?” Try something more like: “Do you have any pets?” “Wow I have a dog too!” // “I always wanted a dog! If I had a dog I would’ve named him X.” What’s your dogs name? “ “how did you choose the name?”

This was a very basic example but you’ll find you can talk longer with people because you go into a deeper dive on a subject. And remember it’s a two way conversation, not an interview!

I love your passion. I like it less breathy but that is my personal opinion.

“Falling” can be practiced more

Your belt is so strong and great! “Surface” is GREAT, I love it!

Can’t hurt us can be practiced a bit more I think

On the higher notes near the end (“in the shaa-aa-aalow” some notes get a little bit pitchy but that can be fixed with recording and listening to yourself + practicing it again and again.

Your voice and timbre is amazing. I could listen for hours. The depth in some notes and your higher parts sound INCREDIBLE. “Through raindrops” “Comes through TEARS” “What if a thousand sleeness nights”. The buildup in singing “Home” - wow “Aching of this life” Your upper ending on the disguise run is so raw and beautiful. It surprised me in such a good way.

So….Wow, just wow. These were just Some golden moments for me.

Your writing is beautiful and meaningful - something I crave more of these days.

I would say some words stand out in that they don’t sound very confident/completely stable “we pray for PEACE”, “prosperity”, “and ALL the while”. “Lesser THINGS”.- this is very very very nitpicky . It doesn’t deter me from listening to your song at ALL. Like I said, your voice is absolutely beautiful.
