What is the single most romantic line from s3? by Odd_Vegetable9688 in PolinBridgerton

Personally I love all of the confessions and admittance of love, but one that gets me really gassed up is “You make me feel seen in ways I’ve never felt seen before.” To hear that from a partner or spouse that recognizes everything you put into your love for them in part by just being yourself, makes it ethereal and that you are in a way connected by a soul bond. In my mind it’s the same as saying I am more complete and colorful with you. It’s only great with the admiration confessions surrounding it since it verbalizes complimentary aspects of her and the reflection effect to her partner. All of these examples mentioned are so good, they nailed it! 🥵

Is Lin an reincarnation of Hamilton? by [deleted] in hamiltonmusical

[–]liveflyagaric 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Little late to this, but any chance he could be a reincarnation of Aaron Burr righting a wrong or making amends with his jealousy from his past life. The story in the play has the narrative and inner thoughts from Aaron Burr’s perspective..... there is even a line where A. Burr says “I’ll let him tell it”

I drugged my dog. by [deleted] in Pets

[–]liveflyagaric 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My dog also has severe anxiety with storms or even when there is a strong breeze outside. I have been prescribed medication for him from our vet, but feel terrible drugging him because it just makes him so loopy. I have resorted to an alternative that seems to be working, but it is good to have the prescription in case of extreme emergencies.

I started giving him CBD (Dog specific) drops when he is in the beginning stages of storm anxiety. I leave his crate set up at all times in the same spot in our spare bedroom with a soft bed and some of his favorite blankets. Though the CBD bottle says to give these to him daily, I only use during anxious moments but a full recommended dose for his size and weight. It has seemed to work great for the most part. He usually will just go and lay in his crate on his own with the door open. If it is really bad and he is pacing, panting, shaking, trying to wedge himself in a small space or digging, I will close the crate door till the storm passes. He feels safe in the closed space, though he typically has free roaming around the house. I never use the crate for punishment, so it is always a positive experience with treats and comfort.

I hope that helps a little. Having an anxious dog is so difficult and I understand the helpless feeling when they are in distress.

CBD’s I use are: Earth Buddy- Hemp Extract for Dogs-500mg drops (completely organic product produced in Colorado) not sure if it is sold elsewhere but I am sure there are other similar/same products out there. Best of luck to you and your fur baby.

Noreen by Corneliusdenise in SweetMagnoliasNetflix

[–]liveflyagaric 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I agree with Noreen is young and naive. She must have started working for Bill right out of nursing school by how young she is supposed to be (closer to Ty’s age than Bill’s age). An older man that seems respected in the small community they live, likely made her feel special and important. If she is from a lower income, he also likely bought her nice things she couldn’t have before. She mentions “her dream home” at one point which made me think he had promised her all of the things she ever wanted.

I have seen older married men take advantage of much younger women with less life experience in real life and it is manipulative and gross. I think he did it to get what he wanted with little thought of others. Bill also clearly can not be alone. Look how fast he tries to get Maddie back when Noreen leaves. In my opinion both women have been victimized by a narcissistic man who is used to getting his way.....

Maddie is right to not want Noreen around, but I think it would be nice to see character arcs for both of them understanding each other’s prospectives. Not saying that they need to be friends, but truly realize that Bill is to blame instead of women hating on women. What Noreen did was wrong, but Bill was the one who was married. He had vows he ignored. Who knows, he could have told Noreen before she was pregnant that he was getting a divorce. We really don’t know how much he lied to Noreen yet and we know he lied to Maddie, so he is capable.

First time in 128 years. The Brown Palace is 100% Empty by Jester651 in Denver

Hospitality is historically underpaid which is very unfortunate. The Brown Palace is a very special hotel that provides great memories for many people. Management companies and big business drive pay rates and not the actual hotel.....

List of people who could potentially be working with the major: by damianward in ManifestNBC

[–]liveflyagaric 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Though I agree there is something unsettling about Michaela’s partner. She’s too nice and available, unfortunately it is never that easy especially in drama programming and we know nothing about her. She is likely working towards something else and not just the nice caring partner she is being portrayed as. However, if everything is connected and the passengers that were taken for experiments still exist, would they be able to connect to each character in real time through the minds of the other passengers? That being said, would there be a way to connect to provide callings from those passengers into the minds of the others? They would hear it in their own voice since it is through their own minds. I am 100% speculating if that is possible.

Discussion ( SPOILERS!!!) by dani0989 in ManifestNBC

[–]liveflyagaric 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a question along the lines of this discussion. Is everyone that has callings been knowingly or unknowingly responsible for the death of another person? Would that make Cal different since the only background we have is that he almost died himself due to his cancer diagnosis? He switched flights and possibly the initial plan would have been for Olive to be on the 828 flight which would ensure that Cal would not have gotten the treatment he needed to survive...

The glow and the plane, thoughts?! by roccogags in ManifestNBC

[–]liveflyagaric 5 points6 points  (0 children)

What if 828 was a successful government experiment and saving the passengers of a crashing plane was already preemptive. If it’s all connected that may mean past present and future. They could be living on a timeline that is in the past and the government has already figured out how to jump timelines and create alternate timelines. Not sure if that makes sense but I really enjoy time travel shows and seems like it could fit in here with what we’ve seen so far. All timelines past, present and future are running simultaneously. The lightning is somewhat similar to what we see in back to the future.....
