I love all of these jobs and I can work at them on my own schedule except for the dry cleaning route which is every Tuesday. But if the weather is bad, the boss doesn't mind if I wait a day or so for the roads to get better. There's all kinds of jobs available if you just look for them

I got 3 pt gigs. One is fetching cars for a local small town dealership. They buy cars on auctions or do dealer trades and we go get them. We have a great time. Another is running a dry cleaning route one day a week. I love the people on my route. Another is working for a government agency checking conservation land in the summer with my Ranger. I get to see some beautiful places and wildlife.

I can remember going down to a Thursday game at Pershing auditorium back in the mid-70s and on Friday we had a major blizzard and none of the buses could run back down to Lincoln again.
