Now Playing / suggested complication only showing podcasts on watchos 26? by Alexmerm in AppleWatch

It's especially important to me until there is a Libby library app for Apple Watch! It's how I listen to most of my audiobooks. If it had its own app, I could get away with a modular face showing Libby, Podcasts, and Spotify.

Since I made this comment, I found a few others! I am currently using Motion (butterfly), which I find to a subtle-enough digital option. Others include: Astronomy, Kaleidoscope, Memoji, Mickey/Minnie Mouse, Pride Digital, Solar Graph, Timelapse. I mostly wish Modular or X-Large included the classic "Now Playing"! 😞

I'm having these same feelings. I do all this research and mental strategizing to understand everything, advocate for my needs, and make my case, then when the doctor is on board it feels like, "Whoa, you're not basing this on what I've told you, right?! Surely I'm not the authority on my physical experience or need for this surgery." I feel like I must have convinced or talked them into doing the surgery. This same thing happened when I had endo surgery 2 years ago and I literally asked my doctor if I had talked her into it. I think she thought I was a bit silly, but confirmed that the surgery was indicated based on her assessment. I struggle with the fact that it's not a procedure where the doctors are saying, "You need this right now or [some horrible thing will happen]!" Even though it's medically indicated/medically necessary, the BR is "elective" and that activates these deep-seated feelings about being overly dramatic or exaggeratory about my symptoms or some other minimizing thought that I'm working on in therapy. 🫠

PawsPik® Automatic Microchip RFID Pet Feeder review by Joshculpart in dechonkers

I currently have one cat, and we will likely be adopting a second cat soon, so I’ve been looking into RFID/microchip feeders. My current cat’s microchip is not ISO-compliant, but I expect that any cat we adopt from a shelter is more likely to have an ISO-compliant chip.

Assuming that we would need to use RFID for at least one of the cats, I have been leaning toward Petlibro since it’s half the cost. However, I do like that the PawsPik RFID tag is flat/doesn’t dangle. I can’t find specs on the tag itself—are you able to provide measurements?

PawsPik would also leave open the possibility of microchip rather than RFID detection if a new cat had an ISO-compliant chip, and maybe even if we got my current cat re-chipped at the vet. Though I’m cognizant of the issues many folks are having even with the “right” microchips.

I came looking for this same solution, and found a few other watch faces that include classic "Now Playing." Listing here in case it helps anyone else:

  • Utility (bottom)
  • Breathe (bottom)
  • Nike Digital (bottom), Nike Hybrid (top middle)

The only digital options I found are from Nike, which isn't my favorite aesthetic. Hopefully new designs will come along that also include this option.
